the maid service was VERY GOOD... On our reservations with [...], we requested smoking. Of course we got the non-smoking room until Thursday early evening when we returned to hotel, the heater wouldn't work and upon calling hotel office, they flipped a breaker and the heater plug in was sparking. Had to move rooms. This time it was a smoking room and I showed the office our reservation for smoking room. We decided to stay an additional night and was charged WAY more than through you. We were here on business for the Abilene Stock Show. We didn't know it went thru Saturday as well.

Nice stay
The motel was clean. The continental breakfast was a joke. They really could improve on that. The staff could be friendlier. But overall cleanliness of the room is what matters most to me and my family. For the price it worked.

I wanna get away
I had fun. It was quiet and in a convenient location. I wish their pool was open, but I did enjoy the small garden they had growing in the back. Check in was rather quick and when I got in the beds were so soft I dozed off right away. Wal-Mart and a few other restaurants were nearby, and it was a short drive to some others on the other side of town

DON'T go to the zoo. It may be good for the money but it's not worth the trip. Most of their attractions were under construction, animals were flying around, and even in other animal tank (there was a TURTLE in the PRAIRIE DOG exhibition! That's dangerous!

this was a personal visit to a shooting event, the range was only about 5 miles from motel,very convenient. motel was quiet and mostly clean. this was our second visit to this motel and both times we requested a wake up call......which we did not get. everything else okay.

I've Had Better Lodging!
My room did not have an iron or ironing board, the wireless internet was down for several days during my stay, and the Air Conditioning unit was incredibly loud all through the day and night. Moreover, the staff at the hotel were not overly helpful or friendly.

Not so great
We stayed at the super eight in abilen tx during memorial day weekend for a family reunion. The staff was polite, and I think the rooms were clean...but there was musky smell in it. The beds were sooo uncomfortable, and the shower head was below my shoulders...and I'm only 5'7".

Awesome location for the price!!
Having stayed in Abilene previously I wish I had known about this hotel. It is the perfect location for visiting ACU, and its proximity to other services is superb!!

Very quiet. No wireless network in hotel rooms as advertised on Orbitz website. TVs are from another age. No HBO. Very quiet place.
