very clean
I chose this motel because of its location in respect to a major medical center. The room was very clean. It was obvious that the flooring and all plumbing fixtures were new. Very nice for a budget motel. The only things I could have asked for would have been queen size beds that were a little more comfortable, (softer) than our full size beds. All things considered, I would definately stay here again.

Dennys is right across the hiway and east about 2mi. Not crazy about the Dennys here at home, however this one was clean, waitresses were pleasant and attentive and the food was actually pretty good.

NO ROOM WHEN WE ARRIVED
We arrived at motel at 10:00 PM with our confirmation #'s and did not have a room. An associate had helped me make reservation because most hotels were full. We had to drive around and call less than desirable motels to find a place to stay.

A Simple Single Night Stay
The staff were about average. Not rude, but not bright and bubbly either. The room was clean and simple. No fridge, microwave, or shampoo. But that's about what we paid for, I suppose. The room did smell a little off. That's my biggest complaint, so I would say it wasn't bad stay. XP

Don't go to Golden Corral unless you're prepared for battling little kids and watching disgustedly as they dip their hands in the chocolate fountain. Oh and some young woman tried to put cotton candy in there too... D:l

Angel Too
Room small but clean.
We had a non-smoking room but it reeked of cigs so they moved us to another room. Room was beyond small but clean and quiet. Good for one night on the road but keep moving on.

Drive 5 min to Belles Restaurant-hotel can direct you to it. Absolutely fantastic home cooking served country style and homemade pies. This was the best part of a trip to Abileen. There was no room charge for our dog at the hotel.

Great for a one night stay
Over all it was great only for a one night stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were neatly made. The restroom was very clean and had all the amenities needed.

11 day stay
I was there for 11 days and my room was made up once...and I had to call for that. No bath tub, only shower. TV service was in and out. Rarely had a parking spot in the same section as my room.

What You Pay For
We needed an inexpensive place to stay for 2 nights while we attended a family reunion and this motel fit the bill. The room was clean and quiet, except when the elephant twins above us were moving furniture. The clerk was helpful and polite even accommodating our request for a room on the back away from the road. We missed having a coffee pot but managed to survive. The TV was pretty impressive. Overall, we got good value for our money.
