Unsatisfactory
When I arrived there were no parking spaces available in the parking lot!!The hallways were not air conditioned and smelled like skunks. There were large bugs all over the hotel. The windows do not open

ok but nothing special
We were having a situation with our house and needed a place for the night. I chose this one based on location, rating, and price. It was o.k. but nothing special. My complaint is that we had a king size bed and it had 4 pillows. I called the front desk and asked for extra pillows and was told there were none. I needed them so I could sit up in bed and nurse my 5 mo old daughter. We got the job done, but it was VERY uncomfortable with only one pillow behind my back and one pillow under her (my husband had the other two pillows). It's hard to believe that in the whole hotel they didn't have any extra pillows. Not impressed. Breakfast the next morning was good and very appreciated since I wouldn't have been able to make breakfast at home. Check in/out was quick and efficient but not particularly friendly or welcoming.

Dog lover
Better than hoped for
Great service from the start. Loved the fact that I could walk my dog right through the lobby and all I got was smiles. The cleaning staff were super friendly, and the place was very, very clean. No complaints at all, in fact, better than I had hoped.

There's a Super Wal-Mart basically right across the street, but it's behind the hotel so you don't have to contend with the traffic.

Very clean and comfortable room.
My daughter, age 28, and I were on a business trip to West Texas. This was a very nice room and very clean and we were close to the mall to do some shopping!

Very nice stay
Nice, clean, exceptionally nice, friendly, and attentive service. Even when I checked in at 2:30 am!!!

Nice stay
The room was clean and comfortable. Our boys, 11 & 13, had no complaints about the fold out. It is close to the mall, restaurants, etc.

Spectacular
Holiday Inn Express Abilene Mall South was great. It is a relatively new hotel (2-3 years old and has a very new feel to it. My first floor room had high ceilings and felt very airy. The breakfast was better than most continentals and had some hot stuff as well. The location was perfect, with easy access to the highways and restaurants. Highly recommended.
