Comfort Inn & Suites Abilene

Second time staying at this location. Reasonably priced and clean comfortable rooms. Hotel staff provided excellent & friendly services. Arrived in Abilene the night before picking up grandchildren to drive to Port Aransas for vacation. Goal was to get a restful night's sleep before the fun began. With no fault of Comfort Inn, Abilene had a severe thunderstorm with high winds, rain, and hail. My sleep was definitely interrupted, but NOT because of anything lacking at the hotel. I'll definitely stay there again.

I've stayed at this hotel before and both times the stay and room as well as the service has been very good.

I was concerned about staying here w/o a review, but we decided to risk it. The pictures looked nice and I prefer places with a continental breakfast. I am on a low carbohydrate diet and was unsure if they would have anything I could eat. They did. As with most continental breakfast it was not the best ever, but they did have a variety of food. Muffins, toast, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fresh- make yourself waffles, yogurt, eggs, sausage, and all the normal drinks. They also had canned peaches and pears. The only fresh fruit was apples. The staff was top notch. The location was very safe and quiet. Room was clean and well staffed. Housekeeping even folded my girl's blankets. They provided soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They have a wide screen TV, desk, and large cabinet with a nice size refrigerator and microwave inside. They did not have a business office but a computer and printer by front door. They do have meeting rooms if you need a quiet place to work or study. Pool area is clean but older and shows signs of wear. They do have a hot tub. Work out room had a bicycle, treadmill universal machine (half of it broke), and a leg press (broke). All equipment looked new and fancy. The gym was roomy, quiet and I was able to get the job done.
