I booked this motel because it was an easy access to the road I needed in the first place and the price fit my budget. Motel looked to be a place where longterm construction / utility workers stayed. I booked for 3 nights. Nothing really special.
Room was OK, but temperature was hard to control. Was fairly clean, but needed more than just a quick vacuum and dusting. Bathroom was not cleaned while I was there. Trash not picked up- had to take it to the dumpster across from my room. Had to go to office and ask for clean washcloths and towels. Just needed a lot more TLC. Probably the worst part was the breakfast. It would need to have a lot more to be considered even a breakfast. Breakfast choices included one box of stale cereal, small container of milk setting out, pre packaged muffins, and an orange drink that was VERY watered down.
Would I stay here again? Only if I absolutely had to. If I return to Abilene (which I do plan), I WILL be looking elsewhere.
The Antilley Inn was a comfortable place to stay, easy to access and priced below comparable motels in the area. It was quiet, and it had a refrigerator and microwave, which we appreciated. Not much in the way of breakfast, but we didn't expect
much, and prefer to find breakfast on our own rather than pay more for a meal we don't really need. It was a very good value and we will go there again if we are in Abilene.

Short drive from hotel
Good Chinese food at the Panda place. (Can't remember the exact name, but it included the word Panda,) They will deliver. Avoid the hot and sour soup, but the Four Seasons on the Chef's Specialties was very good.
