The motel was acceptably comfortable, however the room was in need of repair/remodel. It would really only require a moderate investment to bring this room up to a "very good" rating level. It will likely never be 5 Star, but could be 3.5 with simple repairs.

Leaves a lot to be desired
Very outdated. Small rooms. Breakfast consisted of two kinds of cereal and bread for toast.

Happy but with reservations.
It was sad on one point. At first i made a reservation i thought in kansas but i made it in texas in error. They both were in Abilene and i had made it in Abilene Texas instead of Abilene ks and I would not want to use their motel because they didnt want to give a refund.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
It was a chicken dinner at the Brookville Hotel. At one time booming but for now just a diner and what an atomosphere. The meal was a little pricey but overall i could recommend the place.
