Bood stains on sheets, pillows and blankets, mold in bathroom
Travel In at White Pine TN was horrible, do not stay there! We got a coupon at the TN welcome center and almost feel that the Welcome Center should somehow be accountable.
Upon walking in there was a white substance, maybe sheetrock, scattered
about the entry way, I turned my sheets down and they were stained with brown right below the pillow, there was blood stains on the pillows and blankets, hair on my husbands sheets, mold in the bathroom, broken toilet paper holder, loose tiles in bathroom, and dirt stains on the walls. It’s obvious that this owner neither cares about sanitary conditions or if any one ever returns.
Deadbolt didn't work; smoke detector was hanging off the wall by wires; and, the light in the bathroom was uncovered.
The sheets in the room when we arrived were dirty.
The shower was not cleaned between our first and second nights. The sheets
were not changed between the first and second nights.
My wife and I traveled to Knoxville from the New River Valley in VA, and wanted a cheap, clean place to stay for the night. This was a convenient stop right off the highway. It was quiet, and included a free breakfast. Overall, I would not
consider it an extended stay hotel, but it was sufficient for what we needed.
Unbeatable price and I was OK with the room not being the best. If I wanted a $200/night room, I would have gone elsewhere. When traveling on a tight budget, this place was outstanding on price. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but
overall it was tolerable. The room itself was clean and no real complaints. I'd stay here again for the low price point.
