Volleyball weekend

Main living/dining area was spacious and comfortable and all home necessitites were available. Bedroom was colder than I would like for a cool 20+ degree morning , even after adjusting room temp. Staff was very polite and responsive to our requests.

good time

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, apt. with washer & dryer. We had a good time. It was too cold for the outside pool. The inside pool wasn't heated, it was too cold for the kids. We stayed in the hot tub. They had a good time. The room was clean and staff was great.

Best Condominium Around!

We went shopping at the Tanger's Outlet, and reserved the hotel because we wanted to shop the whole two days. It was the most perfect place to stay because it's close to the outlet, and there are a lot of places to eat around there. TGIF, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Cici's, etc... And it is literally 2 minutes drive to Walmart. I just wish I have more time to enjoy the waterpark (both indoor and outdoor) at the hotel. Maybe more than a day's stay could be more fun.

Great Family Getaway

Hotel staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pools. The hotel was close to Tanger Shopping Center, Wal-Mart, Nascar go-cart track, and several restaurants. We will be staying there again in the future, when we return to Pigeon Forge. Great place for families.

Very nice!!!

I have been here before and that's why I chose it again. I would go back again. This time when I got there they gave me a room that had not been cleaned. I went back to front desk after toting all my heavy bags to that room and back down again confront desk whew!!! I told them the problem and that said I could wait or get another room I chose to get another room. I felt like they worked ad fast ad they could to get me new room but since they made error it would have been nice for them to give me something for my troubles like dinner coupon or discount on nearby attraction. I think this great hotel but if all hotels have what I would call "'blunder policy" if hotel messes up then give free dinner or free admission to attraction this would also cut down on mistakes hotels could award their employees when no mistakes are made for month or whatever and emplyees could get free groceries or free tank of gas or something. Hope hotels will read this response annd make changes which will improve and motivate their staff. Overall this is great hotel and I will go back!!!!

Worst bed pillows ever!

My wife and I stayed one night to have some time to ourselves. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but construction of the room accessories such as the faucets and trim were of low quality and seems to be falling apart. The pillows on the bed were absolutely the worst I have ever tried to sleep on. I mean terrible, terrible, terrible. The room was very inexspensive. So unless you have your own pillows I would not suggest sleeping here. We did not go to the indoor water park/swimming area. So I cannot comment on that.

The Resort at Governor's Crossing

Check in was smooth and efficient. The room was in a perfect spot as husband has physical problems. The kitchen was clean, but not very easy to get around. No kitchen cupboards. The coffee pot was one make and the coffee carafe was another brand. This caused considerable frustration. We have stayed in worse places, but also better than this one.

We wanted to stay longer

It was right next to the outlet mall and tons of restaurants. You could see Wal-Mart from the balcony. The water park wasn't as big as I thought, but it was nice because it was too cold to swim outside. The sauna was HOT!!! I wish we had gotten a 2 bedroom because my husband was very uncomfortable on the sleeper sofa. But who wouldn't?

It's address is Sevierville, but it is right on the Pigeon Forge line. Really close to whatever you're up to.

Nice hotel

The rooms were very spacious, the pool was amazing, it was located right next to the outlet mall! The very small jetted tub was the only disappointment.

We'll Be Back!

Beware: If you are looking for a high-end hotel with a fancy lobby, this is not the place! This place is FUN! The indoor/outdoor waterparks are simple, but well designed -- the tube slides are fast and the lazy river is slow, so take your pick. When the rain came it was great to have a really nice indoor area to wait out the storm -- especially the 20+ person hot tub. The room (King Studio)was very nice with a pleasant view of Great Smoky National Park and the Titanic ;-) The location was perfect, especially for Cirque de Chine which was a fantastic show, and shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall. The staff were also very friendly. We'll definitely go back!

Be sure and have a meal at the Apple Barn -- it's worth the short drive from the Resort.
