River View Inn Sevierville

Pros: Clean, comfortable, great price, no smells, as advertised with mini-fridge, microwave, etc. No breakfast advertised but doughnuts/coffee available! Balcony with view of water. Cons: Advertised price was cheaper at hotel. Couldn't connect to internet--weak connection (ask for room close to router). Minor noises from water/pipes, roadway, heater fan.

I paid close to 70 USD for a night there during a recent weekend trip to the Smokies. Decided to go with it based on quite good reviews. Amenities were very basic but the most annoying thing was that the room was really dirty (carpet, shower tub, etc). Bed covers smelled tobacco smoke although it was supposed to be a non smoking room. The air conditioning fan was too noisy to be able to sleep with it running, so I had to turn it off. Then I woke up in the middle of the night chilling (it was mid October...). Next morning when I wanted to check out around 8 there was no one at the reception to get my key. Had to knock at a few doors then wait until someone woke up. Be aware of what you'll get there if you chose to book a room because of little/no other options.

Way over-priced. Very little lighting. Lampshade was broken. Non-smoking room reeked of smoke. It later smelled of burnt popcorn. The smoke detector was coming off of the wall. No deadbolt. TV remote did no work and there were buttons missing. Very nasty fridge with mold and was not cleaned out after previous guests. Old microwave. Carpet was not vacuumed. No ice bucket or tissues. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Side table and dresser were filthy. The only plus about this hotel was the location. only a few miles from Pigeon Forge.

Hotel older than most, but has recently been upgraded with new carpet, paint and tile. The nice surprise was the patio or balcony each room has that over sees the River. We sat out on the balcony watching the river flow and the ducks. Could watch the traffic on the front balcony or relax on the back balcony. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good value, especially for the fall peak season. Will stay again.

This was a very basic motel room. The rooms were very clean. They were outside entry rooms.

After a busy weekend in Knoxville with our daughter-UT student- for the opener UT football game and Boons Day Fireworks, our overnight stay in Seveirville was very relaxing. We had a nice pleasant view to wake up to of a meandering creek with lotsa Ducks who were loving the rainy morning!

room was clean close to area atractions no breafast and tv not the greatest but i would stay again quite and nice pool

There for a softball tournament in town. The hotel was close to the ball field. Older hotel but had a nice view of river.

The outside could use a coat a pint or two. The river behind the place was a creek with some trash in it. The worst part is that i booked a room with a Jacuzzi and when i checked in they said that I would not have it.
