Mostly good!

Broken tiles in bathroom. Towels were very thin. Upgrades are needed. We stayed there about 7 or 8 years ago when the hotel was much newer. We like all the space in the room with the sitting area on one side of the bathroom and the bedroom area on the other with a TV on each side.

Not Impressed, at all!

The room appeared to be clean but was in great need of an update. The beds were not comfortable, at all. The worst part was that the water was not clean! My daughter ran bath water and it looked like weak tea - gross! The breakfast was not up to par, either. We don't expect great things for the free breakfast but this was the worst continental breakfast offering we have experienced. Honestly, the price was the only thing good about this place and the savings were not worth it. We have this on our list of places we have tried and won't try again.

Great location

Third time staying at this property. Rooms are nice, but decor is a little tired looking. Don't get too excited about the free breakfast - remember, you get what you pay for. However, all in all, a good place to stay for the price.

Nice Hotel

The hotel was nice, though a little old. One thing I really like was the way the room was divided in two, with the bathroom in the middle and a bed on each side. The breakfast was nice with all the usual cold stuff as well as biscuits and gravy and waffles. The only thing I didn't like was the beds themselves were a little on the soft side. I prefer a more firm mattress. These made my back hurt because they were too soft.

Good and not so good....

Hotel was OK in most areas... However the King Size bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows had very little filling in them... Also, the TVs were old and not Flat Screens... The WiFi signal was very slow and weak when I tried to use my Laptop P/C... The Desk Clerk was friendly and the area around the place was in a good location...

Great location for the price

We were here for our son's wedding and this location worked out perfectly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast buffet was very nice. Compared to other hotels where we have stayed this was one of the top.

Our time to see the local sights was very limited due to responsibilities for my son's wedding but we have promised ourselves to return to take full advantage of all of the things the area has to offer.

Great Room Layout!

We traveled to the area to visit Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium, Dixie Stampede, and the tourist attractions. You can get several ticket discounts and restaurant discounts through this hotel. We spent minimal time in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The kids loved the fact that they had their own TV, and almost like a separate room (the bathroom divides the queen beds into two areas. The hotel staff was friendly and super helpful, they even supplied us with a phone charger when we found we left ours at home. The deluxe continental breakfast had the delicious belgian waffle machines, along with biscuits and gravy, cereal, breads, juice, coffee and they had a staff person dedicated to keeping it stocked and cleaning the eating area. It was an excellent location for the Pigeon Forge attractions, and not too far to Gatlinburg. [...] The pool was small but the kids enjoyed it, and the hot tub as well. It is not a five star hotel, but perfect for our family, we plan to stay there again if we travel to the area.
