Family-friendly Pigeon Forge resort near Dollywood, major attractions
This family-friendly Pigeon Forge resort has all-suite king bed accommodations with sleeper sofa and full kitchen. Guests at Cold Creek Resort can enjoy an indoor and outdoor pool, plus a video arcade and fitness room. The large lobby has a lodge-like feel with wooden beams on the wall. Other appreciated amenities are high-speed Internet access, free continental breakfast and laundry facilities. There is a trolley stop in front of the hotel.Timberwood Lodge Rooms

I would have to rate my stay as below average because of the Indoor Pool with no heat and and the cleaning of the rooms were not good. But I do have to say that the staff were very nice and made us feel welcome.

Timberwood Lodge in Pigeon Forge, Tn
Really nice place for the value. Nice spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The room I had a nice little kitchenette, bright lights over the sink which is always a plus when shaving and other things. Room was clean and well taken care of. Nice tv with dvd player. The location is perfect around all the attraction that Pigeon Forge and the Smokey's has to offer. The price was right for this 3 star. I definetly will stay again.

This hotel was not at all what I expected, the room was dirty and we were afraid we were going to get bed bugs. Needs to have a deep cleaning and some things replaced. The sign outside was broken so we had a hard time finding our hotel.

Vacation on a small budget
We really injoyed our stay. The rooms were large and clean. The indoor pool was great. The location was right where we wanted. The price was a big help for people on a low budget like us. It was a pleasent stay for much needed rest and fun. I would stay there agin if we go back.

some resort,more like welfare motel
my visit at this place was terrible,the beds are rock hard and the walls were dirty,comforter was stained not to mention dust 2 inches thick.Oh and the breakfast would not feed it to my dogs.[...]

Great location.
We had a nice room for a couple of days then extended our stay and was put in a room that was not as nice and the rates were jacked up on us.

WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful but the housekeeping staff had to keep being told to leave 4 bath clothes in the room each day instead of 2 and one night after being at a wedding that night our thermostat had been turned down to 53 degrees. We kept it on 65 or so so when we returned it was freezing cold in the room. The continental breakfast area needs to be changed up because they have a lot of video games in that area and I don't know about most people but I really don't care to hear all that noise at that hour of the morning and it needs to be kept stocked better. Also it advertised free wi-fi but I was not able to use my laptop at all this weekend. When I asked the front desk about it they said we were too far away from the lobby but when we tried to use it at breakfast we still couldn't get on it and we were right next to the lobby. And don't get me started on the shower. If you had to wash your hair you had to do that in the kitchen sink because the shower head only put out a mist of water. It was horrible. Our room was a non smoking room but it wreaked of cigarette. My kids went in the indoor pool and said the water was horrible because it was a mixture of chlorine and salt water. I have made a mental note to not stay here again. It was not a good experience.

The shopping was great. Pigeon Forge offers a Trolley to take you to places you want to go and shopping malls were all over the place.
