Smoky Shadows Motel & Conference Center Rooms

- Room with 2 King beds, each room has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a hair dryer. All rooms have a Jacuzzi, direct dial telephones, individual heat & air and a private balcony. Smoking and non-smoking rooms available.

We found this motel and loved the on-line pictures. Very decieving!!! Displayed a huge outdoor pool picture, yeah right. It showed a very nice clean indoor pool. This pool had dirty tiles and algea floating in it. The chairs and pool concrete were mildewed. The room was o.k. but not what we expected.

AWFUL!! DO NOT STAY!
We paid over 100.00 for a 2 night stay in a nasty room.... There were bloody bandaids stuck on the windows the bathroom had mold growing everywhere and I am in the process of trying to get my money back. The staff was very friendly however once we got there there was no name in the system where we had booked. Luckily I brought my confrimation number and they had to let us stay. The website shows pictures of a very nice room but when you get there you are in a small stinky room that smell like dog urine and fecies If you stay make sure you choose the king jacuzie room which is the newer building. If they are available dont stay. The pool was filithy and the chemicals where so heavy it actually would stick to your skin and would have to be washed or peeled off. Not a good stay!

Your typical Motel.
We booked simply because of price, availability, indoor pool, and location. These were the only things good that came of it. The 3rd night there, we had been shopping and left some new items in the room during the day while gone to Gatlinburg. Upon return, those items were gone. Only 3 people had a room key and 2 of them were us. So in the area of "housekeeping" I would not let them in without you being there. And I will stick to keeping the "DO NOT DISTURB" on the door.

Good motel for the money
The motel was clean and the staff friendly. The room contained 2 king size beds and an inroom jacuzzi tub and balcony. We would go back to this motel again. The location was toward the very end of Pigeon Forge but still accessable to walking distance to dining.

Short drive from hotel
If you have never eaten at the Apple Barn, go. It is worth the wait. Make sure that you dine at the original country house at the end. the food is unbelievable!

Great as usual
This is the second time our family has stayed here for a week each time. Our kids loved the pool. Having one indoor and one outdoors really helps with not becoming over crowded in swimming areas. The staff was nice an friendly. The rooms were nice especially for the price. The house keepers did an awesome job cleaning our rooms everyday and even very quick to help us with special request.

Every year when we arrive we grab every coupon book that we can inside lobby of motel or gas stations. Got a free round of putt putt for whole family, free tickets for lazer tag, an free ice cream. These coupon books really help with vacation!!!

Picture shows new side we got the old
The picture shows a newer motel and not the old sideand yes we had to stay in the old side and when we pulled up the rates wrer cheaper [...]the motel was ok seem pretty clean just think they should show the old with the new.
