Nice Hotel
We had a great time in the Smokies. The rooms were clean, cool, and lots of towels. Couldn't have ask for a better place to stay.

Great place for the price !!
The staff were great, the room was ok,(just an older hotel) but the bed was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to the restuarants and parks, also in walking distance of the Outlet Mall. We had a great time and will stay there again when we return to the Gatlinburg area.

The Japanese Steak house about 2 min walk from the hotel has excellent food at a fair price. Shoney's is also close walk for breakfast.

Not a very good hotel
I would never stay in this hotel again. We were supposed to have adjoining rooms. Did not. There was a huge hole kicked in the wall in our room. My son's room who had the kids, the floor had never been swept. The carpet was so dirty your white socks was black in just a few minuets. They advertised free wi-fy in the room, had none. Advertised free breakfast, I had to ask desk clerk about it and he said oh I forgot to put out the donuts. Not friendly people and we would never recommend anyone to stay at any of their hotels.

The good,thebad,and the really ugly
We went sightseeing,and to Dollywood.The bathroom door would not latch,so it would not lock. IT WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS SOME OF THE OTHER MOTELS WE HAVE STAYED.

staff friendly..good location...close to everything....we rented 2 rooms...one had coffee pot....other did not...overall very pleasant stay

Real Good for the money
We were treated with respect from the time we walked in. The hotel manager explained to me that the pool is not as attractive as he would hope it would be but remember there are owners who sometimes think that this is not the underlying agenda that needs to be addressed. He explained that they could of gone with salt water which the pool was clear, clean, yet the deck itself is in need of refurbishing. The rooms are not AAA rated in my opinion but IF YOU ARE GOING TO PIGEON FORGE why [*] about the rooms when you should be spending more time outside doing the things that are there for enjoyment rather than criticizing how a room looks. It was roomy, we went 2 kids ages 7 and 9; Room enough for everyone. It is centrally located as most hotel/motel there on the parkway in Pigeon Forge to anything you want. I have stayed at the $100 dollar on the strip and up in Gatlinburg. So in a nutshell, if you are wanting reasonable rates, helpful service and not going to [*], moan, and complain about every little thing that is there, then come stay.

Our trip
When we checked in the man in the office was very aggravated with everyone/everything. He asked when did we make these reservations, then replied that could be a BIG problem. Then he put us on the 3rd floor, No elevator available, and we had 2 small kids to take up plus all our lugage.Our room did not get cleaned on friday, we had to run down the staff for clean towels and to give them the trash. We had a good time but the staff needs attention.

pigeon forge Family Inn
We felt this was an "average" motel room. Our room was clean. But I overheard other guest complaining about the cleanleness of their rooms. The carpet felt "dirty". It is an "older" place, that has been redone. My biggest complaint was the pool area. The pool was medium size, but the area around the pool was very small. It was hard to walk around, and there were 6 lounges.Also, it had been repaired with small rocks that were painful to "little" and big feet.
