Fantastic after prom getaway

Me and my fiancé had a wonderful time. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would say is the complementary breakfast lacked cleanliness toast and butter everywhere. It was a very good bang for my buck(: I would defiantly come again

worst yet !!!

No coffee in room as promised, then when it was requested had to set it up ourselves. housekeeping never replenished coffee or soaps, all four days we had to go too the desk and ask for supplies. Hardest pillows known to man.

Needs to be more kept up

We got to our hotel and the staff was very kind and welcoming. I was expecting to experience a nice stay and was looking forward to a clean comfortable room...but I suppose that "get what you paid for" thing comes back to get you in the end. The hotel was cheap, but that is it's only redeeming quality. We got into the room and ALL of the light bulbs for the lamps were burnt out. The floor didn't look like it had been vaccumed in several weeks...however at least the bathroom was clean. When we were getting ready to check-out the next morning two of the hired maids came pounding on our door (waking us up at 9:30 AM) asking us if we were going to be gone soon so they could clean the room. We weren't scheduled to check out for another 1 1/2 hrs. So needless to say my stay wasn't great...but it was cheap so can't argue with that.

Great location for the price

We were near Outback and Olive Garden. We drove to Cherokee and back and had an adequate buffet. USA Today was given and had a great night's sleep. The staff was helpful, professional and friendly. Our room was clean! We couldn't believe the deal we got on a winter anniversary getaway! [...]

Bargain hunter...

Well, like others with this economy, I was looking for a cheap stay, and I found it.. The cleche' "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here! I was told that I was getting a room with a "river view", not so. True, there was "stream" that flowed behind the motel, but you had to open the back door in order to see it. Not a window in which to view the so-called "river". I was given the option of "parking-lot view" or "river-view", of course, I chose the river-view, but the only window in the front of the room faced the parking lot. This was very deceiving. Our shower had only tepid water. We would let the water run for @ least 10 min. just to get the water warm enough to shower, when it did get warm, it would only last about 2 min. I could not recomend this motel to others. If I had the chance to do it over, would have gladly paid more, in order to have had a nicer place to stay.

Good & Clean but NOT What I Booked

This was to be our anniversary weeked and I booked a king bed. When I arrived all they had were queens [...] I was very disappointed but made the best of it because the room was very clean and I didn't want to go through the red tape of getting a refund[...]

Not great

Staff had a problem with English. Didn't get room cleaned one day, didn't get towels another day. Room was okay, but bathroom was too small and had mold. Location was good - had a room facing the river and loved feeding the ducks.
