Fantastic Spring Break Trip
I just recently got home from Country Cascades, and I can tell you that I loved every minute at the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel, check-in was swift and easy and I felt welcomed! The breakfast in the morning was great. We didn't eat breakfast at a restaurant during the entire stay. The kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool. Our rooms were clean. I am happy with Country Cascades and can't wait to stay there for my mom's birthday in May! I couldn't have found a better hotel!

Country Cascades is my choice hotel when I am visiting Pigeon Forge, TN. The location is perfect. I stay here with my girlfriends when we are shopping at the Outlet Malls, I stay here with my husband on our romantic getaway weekends and I stay here when we take our kids on our family fun weekends to Dollywood and Splash Country. This place it just wonderful. It has an indoor and outdoor pool for the kids and a hot tub for the adults but the fitness room is lacking. It only has a treadmill and stationary bike so not much of a selection but I don't work out when I am on vacation anyway! The hotel it is very clean and the decor of the rooms is just so cute! The staff here are the best!. They are absolutely amazing! The staff are all so friendly and always trying to make your stay the best possible! Another great thing about this hotel is the breakfast! It is the best around! They have made to order omeletes, gravy and biscuits, waffles, bagels and cereal... but the omelets are awesome! The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is because the last two times I have stayed here my room keys wouldnt work and I had to keep going to the front desk and replacing them. But the staff were super nice and got me new room keys right away. Other than the room keys messing up, this place is fabulous! I will be staying here again very soon to go shopping at the Outlet Malls with my mom. Can't wait!

Nice hotel
Hotel was clean and quiet. We stayed 1 night. Saw a few sights, went in to Gatlinburg. The air wasn't as cold in the room as it should have been but it was comfortable.

There is a lot of room for improvement.
The Hotel's welcome to my family was... "clean up my own toilet". How would you feel if after driving 900 miles to Pigeon Forge, you find out that the toilet in your room was jammed right after you flush the bawl? OK, exhausted and facing a flooded bathroom, I called the front desk and she promised to send a plunger. Guess what?...it never happened. I went down stairs, ask once again for help and she got upset to me for not wait long enough. Long story short, my wife and I spent an hour cleaning the whole mess with no gloves, mopping the floor with bunch of towels and putting the plunger and the towells outside of the room. Later, everything would stayed there for two days. Finally, they picked up the filthy stuff because I remind her that it was still there by the hall. Also, the bottle of water by the gym was empty during all the days I spent in that hotel. Some of the kids games out of order (a warning sign where no one can see it - on one side and facing a wall). The pool was ok, but the elevators' floor often wet for long times. It seems to be ilegal to smile for hotel employees. Breakfast was ok. 24 hrs coffee by the lobby was a good thing.

Fantastic getaway
It was a great location. We had a gorgeous view of scenery from our room, everything was well taking care of! The hospitality was excellent. We got a reasonable price but the only thing thing that I could say about the hotel was that the hot tub was a little too hot and and the pool wasn't hardly heated at all, but we would definately stay again & recommend anyone considering Country Cascades to stay with them for an enjoyable & memorable vacation!

Cascades Country Inn
The hotel was a good value for the money, especially considering the prices in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. We had a room with two queen beds, and they were very comfortable (which I define as very firm, but not at all hard). The heating and air conditioning both worked well, and the unit was quiet and didn't have loud starts or stops during the night. Our room was also very quiet. No traffic noise and no noise from our neighbors. Both the room, the bathroom, and the public areas were very clean. This is an older hotel, so there were signs of wear around the edges, but it had clearly been renovated in the not too distant past. The furniture and fittings of the room and lobby were nice enough. The hotel offers made-to-order omelets as well as waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereals, and some fruit at their free breakfast. The food was decent and offered until 10 a.m. The breakfast area was crowded and the hotel seemed near-capacity if the parking lot was any indication of how full it was. But folks were polite, and despite the number of people there, I didn't have to wait to check in or out. My husband waited about 5 minutes to get an omelet. The in-room safe was also a nice plus. The view from the room was lovely--a creek and the mountainside with all the trees in fall colors. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and we'd return to this hotel. Just a note about Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if you have not traveled there before--the traffic is horrible. Not driving in Washington D.C. horrible (which I do a lot), but bad enough to add some serious stress to what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. I suggestion a small investment in a local map of the area (not one of the tourist maps) and looking for ways to get around town on secondary and back roads. Everyone drives up and down the main street in both towns (Rt. 441) gawking at the attractions, and the traffic moves very slowly and people do some really stupid things. Knowing some of the secondary roads could make it a lot easier to get where you want to go. Also, the stop lights on 441 are numbered, and that helps when navigating the area.
