Vacation Time
Comfort Suite Inn in Pigeon Forge was OK but not as good as we expected. Rooms were old looking, beds were not very clean, and carpet was old and stained.Paint Colors were depressing. Personal was nice and helpful. Cleaning and Maintenance personal was great but spoke no English.Location was off main drag and to far to walk so we rode everywhere.

Cockroaches on the fourth floor
The location is great; Teaster Road is much easier to travel on than the parkway in Pigeon Forge. We arrived at 2:15; the check-in person looked up from his book and informed us that no one could check in until after 3 (first time this has happened to me after multiple trips- 45 minutes early should able to be accomodated). We were on the fourth floor; we had several cockroaches in the room. The breakfast was a cardiologist's delight; biscuits and gravy, sugary doughnuts, sweet rolls, 2% Milk (no skim milk). Artificial creamer (at the price, why not half and half). Despite assurances that bagels would be available, there none to be found, nor was there any bread for plain toast. The price was something I would expect at more impressive resorts; Big City prices in a small town.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
We were able to get to three fairly nice sit-down restaurants without having to venture onto the Parkway; Bullfish grill (steak), Carino's (Italian) and Blue Moose (Wings and burgers) were in the strip mall just across from the entrance drive to the hotel.

Absolutely wonderful
When it comes to hotels I know them, not only have I stayed in many hotels but I worked in them for 6 years. This hotel was clean, nice and a wonderful value. The beds were comfortable and the entire property was non-smoking. The breakfast was more than your average hotel breakfast offering everything from waffles to biscuits and gravy. The staff was friendly and the hotel was conviently placed on teaster lane a backroad which allows easy access to pigeon forge quickly. I have nothing bad to say about this place at all.
