Overall a pleasant time, very good centralized location for family activities and Gatlinburg. Outdoor pool was really nice however the inside pool was a bit warm and the pool room itself was hot.Pool closed at 11....neighbouring pools were open
much later or 24 hours even. The bed made a lot of noise to the point we thought it was going to break but thank goodness it didnt. If youre looking for a semi affordable place with easy access to family entertainment and dont mind a little traffic then I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Take a right out of the complex and then a right at the first traffic light.Make a right onto community center dr and it will bring you to the parkway (strip) while avoiding the traffic on Wears Valley rd.It really helped us alot once we figured it out.:-)
we arrived and the air conditioner was not working to the best. we were tired so went to bed. didnt sleep due to heat. after a day out and about we return it is still very hot in room. call down to office and immediately it is repaired and working
wonderful. breakfast was stale bread for toast and kid would not even eat the waffles. BRING YOUR OWN. room was clean. the only complaint we had was the phone call at 2am to let us know we were parked in two parking places and to move the car or have it towed! REALLY!? AT 2 AM! we moved it but didnt appreciate the early morning call.
Friendly staff. Rooms clean. Beds a little too hard. Location was pretty good. A little difficult to get out of but not at all a deal breaker. The price was right. Would stay there again at the price I got (39.99) but would not want to pay more.
I searched online for a hotel with an indoor pool so we could enjoy some relaxation time in the pool. When we went to look at the pool, a sign was posted on the door that the pool was closed, nowhere on the website did it indicate this. When I
inquired to the staff as to how long the pool was closed, I was told it would not be reopened until renovations were complete and that there was nothing they could do about the fact that this information was not available to me when I reserved the room. The rooms were outdated and needed a good cleaning. There are plenty of hotels in the area that I would have preferred to stay at!
Booked specifically for the indoor pool since it was December, only to find out AT CHECK IN, the pool was out of service until spring/summer of 2012. Wish we would have known that it was out of service when we booked. Cont. Breakfast was only a
dream within an hour of it being over. Although I must say it was a nice and quite room.
