I was afraid there would be bedbugs
The room was scary to say the least. It was a dirty scary neighborhood. Behind the hotel people were working on their cars and hanging out. The room was literally falling apart. You had to lift and slam the shower door to get it to close, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, the telephone didn't work. I could go on and on. I feel like some one should have paid me to stay there not the other way around.

Great one night stay!
Stayed for one night, staff was friendly, room was clean, and the hotel was newly renovated. My only complaints are that the entry/exit way to the hotel was hard to get in and out.

Glad it was only 1 night
A mess currently
As of the end of September 2011, the hotel is being renovated. Though a mess, this is tolerable. But standard features like A/C did not work properly, internet kept cutting out and electrical controls were broken. Breakfast was meager. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower pressure was minimal.

Sleep Inn Nashville
My friend and I were in Nashville for the Country Music Marathon. We were grateful to find a nice place to stay that was not expensive. This location was especially nice because we were 10 minutes away from where we needed to be. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I could not have asked for a better stay.

clean but uneventful
Attended a funeral in the area. It really smelled as you entered the lobby. Although it was clean in the room and it was late so we were desperate. Nashville is a expensive area so we stayed.

Clean, excellent service, Grt value
This is a great little hotel in a sea of overpriced hotels. Great value, clean, safe and friendly. Went in business and saved at least $100 a night by staying here. Short drive to the Gaylord, fast food, grocery store anddrug store within 1/4 mile. I a woman stayed a week by myself and thestaff was so helpful and remembered me by name! I highly recommend them!

Mini-Vacation in the Music City
The hotel was average, nothing great or spectacular. The rooms were very clean, the beds were very hard (some prefer, some don't, we like the softer kind), sheets and towels were very clean. I didn't feel dirty staying there, but there were smoking rooms so when I walked outside my room I could smell the smoke (not in the room though, which was good). Calling the hotel to change my reservation days was pretty much a disaster. The staff member was friendly when he FINALLY answered the phone after about twenty rings after I had already gone through an automated message. The shower was stand up only, albeit very roomy, fine for us but some prefer bathtub. Also, when we got there our toilet seat was broken in half (no clue??) but when we told the front desk they had it fixed by the time we came back from dinner (very nice). It's about a ten minute drive into downtown, which we didn't mind, but definitely not walking distance into Nashville. Overall, it was fine and suited our needs, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything luxury.
