Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel

This hotel is classy. The rooms clean and comfortable, the front desk friendly and efficient. Speakers, the restaurant served a good breakfast. I do have two complaints. First, there was no literature in the room telling us about the pool and exercise facilities. We didn't even know the hotel had a pool, until we were checking out. No info in room about the area. The other complaint is the elevators, which are in the center of an atrium lobby, are very very loud. The noise from the elevators went on and on all night long.

If you're looking for an average room in a good location at a great price, this is the place to be. The carpet was frayed, the fan for the heating/cooling was very noisy and rattled. I've stayed at nicer hotels in Nashville, but I also enjoyed the $200 I saved here over 3 nights. The view of the city was outstanding with a huge picture window and the TV was very large and nice. I would stay again, but not if I was trying to impress someone.

Large Sized Room, Very Clean. Starbucks available in the room and in Lobby Walking distance to Broadway Very Friendly Staff Little Pricey, but comparable to other hotels $20 to park, but if you get there early its worth it to park and walk Check out at 12 pm, big plus after staying out late

Traveled to Nashville for a music event, and this was 1 of the few hotels that met my needs for a great cost. The staff was extremely friendly even though we checked in and out late. We didn't get to enjoy the pool, restaurant or workout room but the lounge bar had great service. The location was perfect as there were plenty of restaurants, bars, and other attractions within walking distance. My only complaint was having to deal with technical support for the wi-fi. After having to deal with outsourced tech support (that you normally deal with home internet connection problems) for 5 minutes I just hung up and used the wi-fi on my computer and I had no problems. If the staff is not too busy, ask them if you can see the spinning restaurant at the top of the hotel. It's only used for banquets and other occasions now. The view of the city is amazing, and we were told that it looks better at night with all the lights on!

The hotel was dirty and disgusting. The time it took in to checkin was ridiculous. You should not have to stand in line for 30 minutes to check into a hotel. The bathroom was dirty and dusty, Brown water came out of the faucet when I tried to take a shower, there was dust and hair on hte bed linens, the shower looked worn out

The hotel was clean and is only a few blocks from the entertainment district (live music, bars, restaurants). If you're looking for a nice hotel that's right beside it all, but not in the middle of it, this is a great choice. We also jumped in our car and drove 5 minutes to the Hillsboro section, by Vanderbilt. Great little brunch and lunch places to eat.

For two of the three days we were at the hotel the only water coming through the faucets was hot. Perhaps that's not any worse than no hot water, but still not a bargain when one couldn't take a shower because the water was too hot--couldn't be moderated by any cold. Still, it was a nice place to stay--good location, helpful concierge, and congenial bar and restaurant. And they did give me a modest discount because of the water problem. I'd stay there again, but I'd check about the water first. (Don't usually think of asking if there's any cold water!)
