poor attitudes and service

My room rate was incorrect and no effort was made to change it. I came with a large group and one of them had to be moved since their heat did not work. The ice machine was broken on my floor and when I called about it I was told to go find one on another floor. there were no blankets in the room or on the bed. the breakfast was barely warm and 2 employees were yelling, cursing, and slamming doors at each other while we ate. The pool was closed. When I checked out I wanted to pay with cash and was told I would be charged $25 late fee. If I had left the room on my card I would not have been charged the late fee. The staff we encountered were rude and really made no effort to ensure our comfort.

Not what we expected

We contacted the hotel that we would be arriving later than expected and the attended was rather hard to understand. When we did arrive the bathroom floor was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. We had to pay two different prices for parking even though the even charged more for the hotel room on game day. The continental breakfast was not great. The pool was very uninviting and they even advertise the largest guitar pool. I would recommend a complete remodel and work on making it more inviting for sports fans!

Nightlife tip: Long walk from hotel

The hotel sits just on the outside of downtown Nashville and would be a great destination if it was clean.

Close to Downtown & East Side

Great location, easy to get to downtown, interstate, and east side (fat bottom brewery, five points) Can walk to Eastside Communityt center and use the Nashville Green Bikes for free to ride around. Also super close to Shelby Park Greeway for a nice morning walk or run...... Room was clean, comfortable bed. Pool was warm & clean.

Business trip

The hotel was a good standard. No complaints. It has a unique guitar-shaped swinming pool. The breakfast service was free and a good standard. Quite a few tourists seemed to use the hotel because of its easy access from the freeway and free parking.

Great location!

From reading all the reviews before we got to the Ramada Inn, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasently surprised. I wasn't going to Nashville to hangout in the hotel room, so I was just hoping for a clean room. Rooms are completely average but they were clean! Staff was great. Super nice people working while I was there. They even let us check in right when we arrived in Nashville, which was 2 hours before check in time, so that was great! It's only like a 10 min walk to broadway, location was great. Breakfast wasn't anything special but I'm not going to complain about a free breakfast. My girlfriends & I had a great time in Nashville & would definitely stay here again! Don't listen to all the negative reviews--Some people are extremely high maintenance. This is an average hotel, but very clean & staff is great.

Needs Improvement

The location of the hotel was nice, close to downtown and close to the highway. But the location was really the only plus about the hotel. The Ramada showed that it was only a two star hotel for a reason. Overall, the bathroom and furniture could have used some work. The room was quite muggy, so we kept the air on all day and night. If I could do this trip again, I would have probably picked a different hotel.

Decent all the way around

Parking fee is $10 a night plus tax, and pool area is super muggy and noise carries easy, which is annoying, but it is a decent, clean, and comfortable hotel, in a walkable location from downtown Nashville and is a lot cheaper than other nearby hotels. I'd stay there again.

Just a place to sleep

We chose this hotel because we planned to merely bar hop and listen to music with friends - we were looking for something in the "affordable" range. Since it was chilly, the long walk to get to Broadway was not practical, so we had to cab it anyway. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it's fine. Otherwise, you might spend a little more and stay closer to the action.
