Ramada Inn & Suites Nashville Airport Opryland

It was the cheapest Hotel by the airport, and cheapest one in good distance to downtown that wasn't in the hood. Pros: Bed was comfy, AC worked nicely, TV worked, Couch existed, free waffles and cereal for breakfast. Cons: Grubby bathroom with couple spiders, no hot water all morning, wall makes it so you can't use TV from be area (not a big deal, just worth noting)

Location, staff and price was right on. Our 1st room the toliet was stuffed up. Next room our key would not work. We stayed 3 nights and our last morning we had no hot water

I booked non-smoking room, arrived there they gave me smoking room. I didn't stay there also I spent $300 for another hotel. I hate it

The staff was nice, the grounds were clean, room was very spacious and nice. The only down side was that our televison was not very clear, but enjoyed the stay

It served the purpose. We just needed a room close to the airport. It was great that they offered the free shuttle service. I felt safe there and it was nice to have a room on the bottom floor. I would recommend a stay there if over night or extensive.

I have never had a trip like this in Nashville! This was our anniversary. We had a great supper and headed to the hotel. [...]when we got to the room... I was ready to head back home which is about a 3 and a half hour drive. [...]

VERY VERY Dirty. Soap scum, and hair in our shower/tub, walls almost black with dirt in the bedroom area. A/C only in walk/in area, bedrooms were almost 90 degrees during the day, in the 80's at night. Carpet was so filthy that your socks would be black after walking around on them, cabinet doors falling off. The fridge was malfunctioning, it froze all of our food - over $150 worth. Freezer wouldn't seal good, kept freezing shut. The entry door had 1 inch gaps all the way around, alot of lovely bugs and spiders came in at will. The housekeeping staff came into our room even though we specifically requested that they didn't, and hung the do not disturb sign on the door. The "dish pack" they advertise that they have was 2 pans, a spatula, and a large spoon. So we had to go buy pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. The full sized fridge they advertised, was small, very old, and as I mentioned above not working properly. There was only one working coin washer, with a fully booked hotel with familes. There were 2 dryers, one had no heat, the other took over on hour to dry a small load. Hotel staff would not take our trash, they would just leave it sitting by our door. OUr tv did work, but other guests at the hotel shared their horror stories with us and quite a few did not even have working tv's. OUr credit card was fully charged in advance when it is only supposed to be a hold, so we can use alternate payment at checkout if we'd like. I asked them to apply my Southwest partner rewards, they refused. The staff did nothing to address the dirt, poor service, and false advertising - they just shrugged as if to say "tough". I would like to say that the "laundry" staff was very very nice and helpful. There were a couple of times we needed towels and they were drying and the gentleman actually brought them to our room.
