Knights Inn Nashville Downtown

I really had a good stay at this hotel and found that the customer service was better than the higher priced hotels nearby. I ended up booking a room here after an awful experience with a nearby Hotel and a under trained rude employee decided to continue his personal call for 20 minutes at the front desk rather than check me in. I just left and booked here where it was such in contrast with the previous hotel to be greeted and respected with the most friendliest of staff. I felt angry still from the prior run in and was wrongly behaving . I was being very negative complaining and whining about this and that. The young lady at the front desk then handed me a voucher to a local eatery and told me something to the effect that when she is having a rough day the best comfort food was served there. I realized that I was being abrasive and apologized immediately. I was touched and after that night had many friendly experiences with the staff there. They were spectacular and the number one in customer service. Comfy beds staff was the best and location location location

so the place was a bit scary...on the edge of town and not so great.

Went to have a spot to stay the night before and after the Nashville Marathon. It did the job, though no frills. Cheap and 1 mile from the finish line at LP Field. The "no-smoking" room smelled heavily of smoke, but I could put up with it. Slept, showered (powerful water pressure), and used the free internet with good results. I would stay there again for the same event or for Titans games...

Room had an unpleasant odor, upon opening door.Bathtub was funcional, and had a shower head, but no way to make shower operational, and the "swing" lock on the door was broken off. Really thought the neighborhood wasn't up to par either. As I was returning to the hotel later in the evening (2:30 AM), I saw on the sidewalk, a block away, what I assumed, were three men that looked like they were "selling". I mean, who would be out at 2:30 AM walking around the streets??? I will never stay here again.

In the words of my friend, "I've never stayed in a hotel where they knew my name when I walked in the door." That's exactly what happened. Check-in was super fast. We filled out one short form and went right to our room. I was wary of a 2-star hotel but this was very adequate! The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location for us. We had a microwave and mini fridge, which we did not expect. I would absolutely book a room at this hotel again!

On the outside the hotel was the worst I have ever stayed at. Beside it was next to the Nashville sanitation department. Nice view of garbage trucks. You should not be rating this place two star. It is not even one. Rooms inside were old, but fine. Counter help was not cheerful. NO ice available in morning, room was locked up and desk would not help. I would never go back.

Was in Nashville for medical appointment. The motel hasn't changed except for name since 1997. No resturant or lounge, Lounge was accessible from outside in another area. Last time stayed it was a Best Western.

It's very close to downtown. 6 dollar cab ride to middle of city. Hotel was quiet and clean. Good place to stay if you're wanting to save some money and just like having a place to sleep.

We traveled to see a touring band. We wanted to explore Nashville as well, so we only needed a place to sleep/shower. The price was great. The staff was amazingly helpful and our rooms were clean. The beds were the only thing not so great. I was nervous because I booked the room before reading other reviews. There were bums in the area, but they were harmless. I consider myself somewhat picky, but it really wasn't that bad for what we needed, and I'd stay there again.

The hotel manager was nice. But I am very surprised that you offer this hotel as an option. This hotel was located in a bad part of Nashville with a very bad reputation. While waiting for my cab in back of the hotel as the manager asked me to do, I had several men stop and try to solicit from me and I am the farthest from being that type of individual. I will definitley research any hotel you list from this point on. Houskeeping NEVER vaccumed my room when cleaning it. I had to take my valuables with me when leaving my room as I didn't feel safe leaving them there. I was embarrassed to say where I was staying when asked after the first time or two of saying where. I will NEVER stay there again, and I have concerns with this service as to the types of services you are promoting at this point. This hotel had to have a police officer monitor the parking lot. That is good and bad, good he was there, but for the wrong reasons. I should NOT have had to choose from such an option. Again, I will learn to research any service you all have listed in the future.
