the hotel was very nice. the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. the staff was excellent and was helpful with my every need. the only problem i had was that i could hear the neighbors every word at 1 o'clock in the morning because the doors between the rooms i guess had no installation at all.

only two miles to downtown. free drop-off and pick up within three miles by hotel. Cab only cost $7.00 into or from town!!! Why would you drive yourself?

Very nice romantic weekend
Location was great. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants to choose from in walking distance or you're just a short drive to downtown or the Gulch. Interior of the hotel was amazing. The lobby is stunning - great place to hang our during the free wine tasting hour! The room was very clean and had a beautiful, modern bathroom, comfy bed, and great view of the Vanderbilt campus.

Overnight valet was expensive - $25 per day. It looked like you could find plenty of off-street parking if you wanted to save a few bucks.

Location is everything
Great location for a nice getaway. The hotel is very convenient to many nice restaurants and activities. The free transportation provided to locations within a three mile radius is an excellent touch! The staff is very gracious without being disingenuous.

Quirky, but nice ...
This is a refurbed hotel from something ordinary into a cool, sleek and modern hotel. Over all, I liked it quite a bit. I was there for 3 days, first day on the 15th floor. There was something either in the wall or ceiling that creaked a lot, so I mentioned it the next day and they were happy to give me a different room, this time on the 6th floor. They didn't tell me two floors are "pet-friendly" and apparently no one told the yappy little dog in the room next door which howled for it's owners who were elsewhere. The staff was very attentive and there were nice touches throughout, such as the art work and lobby. Restaurant food was very good.

Great Value in Nashville!
Nice hotel, small enough to still have good service. Had some problems with them not finding the reservation thru Orbitz but got it taken care of. Rooms were clean, modern and very good location. Would stay there again.

Great Hotel[...]
[...] this hotel was outstanding and the staff was more than helpful[...]. When we arrived to the hotel (on a VERY busy Nashville weekend with Vanderbilt and Belmont orientation weekends being held), the hotel informed me that my reservation was never sent to them [...]. Luckily they had a few rooms left and upgraded us to a suite. [...] The hotel offers a complimentary car service within 3.5 miles of the hotel- perfect because most of the main attractions are within 3.5 miles. Only drawbacks were no complimentary breakfast (just a very expensive restaurant) and $20/night for parking. Other than that, this hotel surpassed my expectations! [...]

Belle Meade Plantation! Beautiful, cheap, FUN, interesting... and free wine tasting at the end of the tour. Definitely worth looking into!

Excellent!
The room was fantastic! The hotel had everything that my girlfriend and I needed. It was romantic and had a tremendous view of the city. The Hutton Hotel exceeded all of our expectations.
