Not good at all

This might have been the most awful hotel experience I have ever had. No where in the description of this hotel was any mention of the bar which is located across the parking lot from this hotel. The location of this hotel is neither close to Opry Mills nor downtown. My stay was on a Friday night and promptly at 2:15 am is when a large booming from the bass of either the club or a patrons car began. This did not end until after 2:45 am. Not even with the air conditioner on and the television could drown this out. Had this been mentioned in the description I would have been more educated than to agree to this hotel.

BED BUGS

I checked in to this hotel room knowing that it wasn't in a great part of town. I was only in town for one night and was traveling with my dogs and wanted a room with an outside door. The room seemed ok at first, nothing fancy. But when i pulled down the sheets there were bugs particles on the mattress. When brought to the clerks attention. He showed me another room, this room also had bug and blood smears on the mattress. He told me I was being to picky and would not refund my money. Who does that?

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

The Baymonts suites up the road turned out to be a very nice hotel for only 10 more.

Could NOT stay in this Hotel.

Could not stay here with Children, would not stay here alone. The front desk clerk was rude and hostile, there is an 8 foot fence between HJ parking lot and a raunchy club that is easily seen from the 2nd floor walkway to rooms. Did not stay here on our way from New Orleans to Ohio, but instead drove straight through. Over 17 hours of driving seemed better than a night here for our group.

A rundown place in a bad part of town.

Run down, dirty hotel in a bad part of town. Handicap reservation requested but got 3rd floor on the opposite end from the single elevator and was quite a walk. Desk clerk was abrupt and rude.Said no vacancies but not too many cars in parking lot. Toilet wouldn't flush. No fridge or microwave. I have never stayed in a worst place. Nashville was ok to visit but wouldn't return.

Howard Johnson Downtown Nashville...nope

One of the worst stays ever. There is a hip hop club just outside of the hotel. The music isn't too loud, but the patrons are. Luckily, I was very tired from a long drive or sleeping would be out of the question. Dirtiest hotel room I have ever been in. I had a pair of brand new white socks that I wore from the front door to the sink and back and found them brown with dirt from the carpet. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower was filled with curly black hair (you guessed it). I felt cleaner before the shower! The toilet was also in need of a good scrubbing. It had tracks from a previous rodeo. I informed the management the next morning and skipped the continental breakfast even though I was hungry.

If you are a light sleeper, might not be best choice since there is a club behind the motel. Good value for the money.
