hotel needs updating

The Hotel Preston needs updating. The bathroon was a little shabby. The beds were a little uncomfortable. The restaurant, however, had great food and a wonderful staff. The rest of the staff was ok. They charge extra for an internet connection. It was nice being close to the airport because they have a shuttle.

Unique

The only set back was that they only had one set of elevators. It was really hard to get an elevator going down to the main entrance at checkout. We stayed on a Friday night and they had a live band that could be heard all the way up on the 5th floor. If I was on the 2nd floor I would have probably complained. They didn't stop playing until midnight!

Excellent Experience

I flew in for the NTSGA Steel Guitar Super Jam. Stayed five nights. Staff was friendly and accommodated several special requests without hesitation. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Conveniently located to the airport, Opryland and a short and easy drive into the city.

Friday night getaway

We had a great time. The hotel was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. They had lots of suggestions from places to eat to places to go and listen to music. The room was everything we needed it to be. We were only there one night. And we would definitely stay there again.

Fine for short business trip

Fitness room lacking equipment, could use more on-site amenities if saying with family. Good location for access to anything on the airport side of town.

Nashville

The whole place had an upscale feel to it. The internet fee bothered me, more for the inconvenience than the price. Didn't get a chance to get in the pool but looked nice. I was searching for coffee early and the lobby restaurant gave me a cup. Very nice. I'd go back if ever in Nashville.
