Unexpectedly hip

Filled with fashionable art, this highway-side hotel was an oasis of style inside the lobby and inside the rooms. I liked the wild red leather walls in the elevator and the overall vibe was unexpectedly hip. Food in the dining room was surprisingly good for a slow night and the chef came out to talk to me which was really nice. Very pleasant and accommodating front desk staff as well.

Great place to stay, but don't eat there

The hotel is attractive and a true boutique appearance. The room was delightful and clean and the staff (until check-out) marvelous and prompt. The food at the restaurant was pathetic and so was the service. This is thier weak point. They ahve it made because there is not much around to choose from to eat. Truly, very bad!!! Although the decor of the place did not fit the hangout of the bar, I was impressed that it was a live music venue. I am a little more progressive, but truly, did not attend more than two nights of my 6 night stay. Parking was easy and free, even on busy nights, and the location was perfect to Downtown and the Opryland area. Best of luck! I will stay there again, but will not eat there again.

Nice hotel

We were very pleased with the room and attention from the very friendly staff, right from the bellman to the desk clerks to the maintenance personnel. Will look forward to a visit once they have completed the remodeling. The beds were FANTASTICALLY comfortable. Would recommend it to anyine. The only thing I can think of for improvement would be to suggest free internet access and free local calls.

This is the place for ...

This is the place for someone who wants something with a bit of uniqueness and character at a great price point in a convenient location. Art deco designs inside and out are a great touch. Renovated room attractively done in red, white and chocolate brown. Bathroom nicely renovated in granite/stainless. Staff were great, friendly and offering on point advice about sightseeing and restaurants. Hotel dining room was being renovated, leading to the lower indicated.A fun place!

My review of Hotel Preston

The Hotel Preston was a very nice hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. I liked the fact that you had to use your room key to work the elevator. Room service was very nice. Since the hotel is not very close to any restaurants it would have been nice if they offered more items on the room service menu. I would recommend the hotel and I would stay there again.

I only stayed one night ...

I only stayed one night at the New Preston Hotel and it was a great one night. The check in was super easy, the room was very clean and much nicer than I expected. This place was 2 minutes from the airport. I was able to return my car and get to the gate in less than 15 minutes. The bar was active and the live band was interesting. I would stay here again.
