It was OK...
The location was great; minutes from my daughter's campus. The rooms were average, clean but somewhat worn. The staff was very pleasant, but it looked like everyone else there qualified for a free breakfast voucher. Since we bought through Orbitz, we had to pay #10+ each! The "fresh" fruit released a swarm of fruit flies when I tried to take a piece.

Convenient to Vanderbilt Campus
Great location close to Vandy campus. Recent (within the last year or so) upgrades to bathrooms, carpeting, lobby, restaurant are great. Staff very friendly. Free parking!

Convenient & clean!
This hotel had great on-site, live entertainment in the lounge (no need to fight the weekend evening crowds in downtown bars!). When we needed to get downtown, [...] was our friendly chauffeur that was available when we needed him for a ride or pick-up. While this location was not in the heart of Nashville (just outside), it never seemed like we were too far from any conveniences.

unbeatable location
This was my first trip to Nashville. I was there to attend the UGA- Vanderbilt football game so the location was perfect! It was also easy to get to and from the airport. The computers in the lobby were very helpful to print boarding passes. It was a pleasant walk to many nice restaurants and a great bookstore. I felt safe and would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends. The staff was nice and helpful!

Great location. Great service. Good buy
The location was perfect for our trip to Vanderbilt. Staff was very courteous and helpful.We were allowed to check in early which really helped us out. We were very pleased with our visit, would stay here again.

Holiday Inn Select NASHVILLE-VANDERBILT
Hotel includes a decent lounge showcasing some excellent local talent in country western music. Good venue for listening to songwriters' original work in shifts of four. It can make a urbanite into a fan.

anniversary get-a-way
The staff and room was great. Shuttle service to the main area of Nashville which was about 3 miles away. No hot tub....pool was not working when we were there...limited food in hotel but plenty of places around. Away from the hustle and bustle of music row which was nice. Had a great view of the Parthenon. No shuttle to Opry Land....had to bus it or spend lots for a taxi
