Vanderbilt Weekend

It's hard to beat the location of this Hampton Inn if you are spending time at Vanderbilt. But, on a football weekend, you'll pay almost 4 Seasons level pricing for a regular old Hampton Inn experience - not bad per se - just what you'd expect at a value business chain. The staff was good and helped whenever asked. The biggest reason you go here, however, is to be in or near Vanderbilt. You can walk anywhere on campus from this location.

"Honey, I'm home!"

I was in Nashville for business. The reception staff were wonderful! At the end of each day as I entered the hotel I called out to them the above greeting because everyone was so friendly and welcoming. My daily schedule was filled with meetings at Vanderbilt from early AM to late PM. I wasn't in the hotel very much due to this. Kudos to the shuttle drivers! The rain and stormy weather was very bad during my stay and I appreciated the door to door and umbrella service. One night I had a difficulty accessing the I-net but the problem was quickly resolved. The breakfasts were great - I really enjoyed them.

A nice stay

Nice hotel. We have no complaints. We took advantage of the pool and the complimentary breakfast. It was everything we expect from a 3 star hotel. It was a bit pricey for a 3 star, but it's location between Vanderbilt and downtown probably keeps the demand high.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you're not familiar with Nashville, get traffic and parking tips from the hotel staff. These were more challenging than we anticipated.

Vanderbilt Move In Weekend

Perfect location for easy access to Ingram Commons and freshman dorms. Staff very helpful with last minute needs such as Sharpie, tape and post its. This is our third stay at this location. Front staff always attentive and breakfast staff friendly. The free shuttle service is a big bonus. My first pick in the Vanderbilt area.

Weekend Stay

The Hampton Inn at Vanderbilt was fine for a weekend getaway. The room was clean and tidy. The only issue was the price...a bit steep for a mid-tier hotel. The pool was small, but nice enough.

Wonderful Girls Weekend

One of the nicest hotels in Nashville area. Location was great. Appreciated the shuttle service to be dropped off to downtown for our concert show. Area was very walkable which was needed to keep up exercise and feeling good during mini vacation. This hotel did not charge for parking which is how it should be when staying in Nashville hotels. Thank you guys for standing out among your competitors!!
