The GuestHouse International Inn and Suites, across from Opryland, is located in the Heart of Nashville's Opryland, OpryMills(temporarily closed), Grand Ole Opry House shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. Nashville Weekend

Dirty and smells

We booked this hotel because of the mostly good reviews and recommendation rating. WOW...it is nothing like the reviews. First of all the stench consumes you from the moment you walk in. It smells old, dirty and of stale smoke. It is extremely outdated. The pool was not open, "until further notice", so if you would like to use a pool on your trip, call before you book this place to make sure it is open. We will never book here again. The 1 star is for location.

Outstanding value

The Guesthouse Inns and Suites are an outstanding value. On my recent trip to Nashville it was important for us to be located near the Grand Ole Opry. This hotel was in a great location with free hourly shuttles to the Opryland Hotel where the Grand Ole Opry is located on the grounds. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and have the basic ammenities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

To go into the downtown area I would suggest using the yellow cabs. They have meters instead of a flat rate of $25.00 one way with a $1.00 added per additional person. The people are very nice but it is costly and can really add up.

Great stay!

I stayed here and had a conference at the Gaylord Opryland - I was so glad to make it out of the biosphere at the Gaylord in order to stay down the road! The carpet and bedspreads were a bit dated; however, it was all pretty clean and served me well during my stay. Continental breakfast was great! The pool and jacuzzi were empty all the time and kept in great condition - perfect for soaking after a long day at the Gaylord. The free shuttle to/from the airport and to/from the Gaylord were awesome as well! The staff was super friendly and the hotel was so quiet at night - I fell asleep easily each evening. I would definitely stay here again for a restful and quiet weekend!

Nashville Live

The location was perfect for us,close to the Opry and the things that were most important to us.Driving to the downtown area was fast and the desk clerk gave exellent directions.The staff knew the area well and offered exellent suggestions of things to do.The room was spacious,clean and comfortable.The indoor pool was a little cool . Breakfast buffett was good ,plenty to eat.The live entertainment in the evening in the lounge was a big hit to finish our day. We'd go back there anytime.

Great hotel for the money

A short walk across the street (1/4 mile maybe) to Grand Ole Opry. Bartender in the hotel. Best I've ever had in a hotel.
