Conference

Pros: The hotel is very nice and extremely large. It is loaded with amenities such as great restaurants, clean and comfortable rooms, and interesting views. I would definatley recommend this hotel to others. Cons: You will get lost on the grounds. There should be an app for the hotel other than just a map...

Hotel Stay

The stay was good. Staff was friendly. However, be aware of the hidden fees when you get there. Self-Park is $20.00 per day and there is a mandatory resort fee of $18.00 per day. Items at the coffee shops are expensive. If you are fine with the fees, it is a nice place to stay.

Relaxing weekend getaway.

The Gaylord Opryland is a beautiful hotel! Stayed there many times and decided to take my husband for a weekend getaway in Nashvile. This was his first trip to Music City. The hotel is gorgeous and has a lot to offer. We decided to pay the extra to valet park the car. It was a joke lines of cars waiting to pull up to drop their car off. We waited 20-30 minutes just to drop the car. Customers in the elevators on the way up to our room were complaining! They need a better system. If we had know this was the case we would have self parked! The rooms are dated although the beds were very comfortable! Why the resort fee? The room rates are high enough! If we go back unfortuntelly we won't stay at the Gaylord!

Enjoyable Experience

The hotel was attractive, extremely well kept, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only improvements we saw that needed attention were that there was no staff available in/around the hotel to ask directions from in addition to the numerous maps that were posted throughout the hotel. Also there were not enough public bathrooms available and the ones that were there were not well posted. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

The shuttle bus service to and from the hotel was outstanding. The bus drivers we encountered were friendly, personable, helpful and fun which made our stay in Nashville that much more enjoyable.

Great Place to stay!!

We went to the Gaylord on the advice from other friends who had stayed here in the past. They assured us that we would have a nice time & they were right on. It's nice just to take your time & stroll through the gardens. The sushi we had at Cascades American Café was awesome, very fresh! If we ever get back to Nashville we will definitely be staying here again. Only downfall is that everyone else likes the hotel as well & its hard to get around on the weekends. During the week was much quieter.

Nice Stay

Everything is Super Nice at this "Resort" You could stay there and go noplace else. SUPER Expenesive. If your on a budget, I do not recommend going there. But if money is no object, Enjoy. EVERYTHING costs money (prices based on a couple)... $56 shuttle to airport, $60 for the 3 Day shuttle downtown... $15 a day Resort Fee .... (2 free waters a day, gee, thanks) $8 for 2 Cups of Regular Coffee at their Cafe... and the list goes on.... To us, it was a once in a lifetime..... Everyone should go at least once... but I probably won't go again... I'm guess I'm just a simple girl...

Too crowded

It reminded me of Disneyworld. The hotel most attractive bar, The Cascades, was the one that closed the earliest. It was the most elegant bar. as the others, ie, Fuse and Jack Daniels were just way below par and there was nothing attractive to look at. I recommend that the hotel consider making Cascades open until 1pm as their other choices are pretty bad representations of their grand hotel land.

Resort?

Loved the experience of Opryland, but felt like the daily resort fee gave me what I usually get at any nice hotel without a fee. The daily parking fee was another complaint. I am a guest. $20 a day? Finally, our wine and appetizers evening in the beauty WAS fun, but the appetizers were awful. So, I am glad we went, but I felt a little taken advantage of.
