Big, nice and convenient for conference, but pricey

Huge place in a glass atrium setting, with beautiful plants and fountains everywhere, and lots of venues to dine and shop. Especially loved the Old Hickory Steakhouse, with it's elegant setting and great cuisine. Check-in was quick, staff were friendly and room was nice, clean and quiet. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and make sure to pick up a map - there are a lot of levels and bridges and balconies - almost seemed Escher-esque at times, but that's probably because the conference was so spread out. Also make sure to ask for a room with a balcony - though I paid close to $1,400 for 3 nights in a double queen unit, having the view of a rinky-dink parking lot was a big letdown. Though I was quoted aveg nightly rate of $392, turned out to be more like $470 because of resort fees and taxes.

Resort Fees are unacceptable! Parking was full so we had to park RV Lot. Would have taken about an hour to check in for valet parking. Not enough staff for number of people booked!

Family Getaway

We had a great time - the resort is awesome! If you have any problems - ask...they will try their best to fix the problem. The bathrooms are a bit small but overall the room was very clean. Indoor pool rocks. THe room temperature was the only thing that was bad - couldn't regulate yourself - had to get the engineers to do it. They did try their best to make it right. The food is pricey but good. Room needed more outlets - odd for charging electronics. Lighting was weak too. iHome was nice touch - we jammed!

Great Resort!

We had a great experience at the hotel. The only thing we did not like is the charge for self parking of $18.00. I don't see why or how they can charge for self parking. Otherwise, it is a great resort.

Great weekend but not as requested!

Reserved a king bed atrium room but was checked in to a queen double bed atrium room. The desk clerk did not mention to us that this had been changed. I said to the bellman that the room was not what we had booked. He mentioned that they would be glad to change the room if they had any king rooms left but that they were probably booked pretty tight. I did not call the front desk to ask about the change but was disappointed that this mistake had been made. i expected things to be perfect. Staff and facilities were great!

Staff were delightful. Workout room was outstanding, better than many gyms. Only downfall, was I had to pay to use Fedex office where most other hotels provide office space at no extra charge.
