Resort?

Loved the experience of Opryland, but felt like the daily resort fee gave me what I usually get at any nice hotel without a fee. The daily parking fee was another complaint. I am a guest. $20 a day? Finally, our wine and appetizers evening in the beauty WAS fun, but the appetizers were awful. So, I am glad we went, but I felt a little taken advantage of.

Girlfriends Weekend Getaway

My girlfriend and I live hundreds of miles apart and try to get together once a year to catch up. She has been to this hotel numerous times and wanted me to visit. I absolutely loved it! Just being able to walk around the conservatory with all the beautiful, lush landscape and waterfalls was so relaxing. It was awesome to be able to go to the restaurants without having to drive. I do plan to visit again in the future. Thanks for a great memory!

Beautiful Hotel - worth seeing

Pro's - The hotel/gardens are beautiful and relaxing. - Brandon at the front desk was extremely nice - We were comped a room with a balcony. It was wonderful to have the french doors open listening to the waterfall. Con's - suggest better signage in the hallways - coffee maker was hidden under sink - found it after going in the morning to Starbucks - The hotel seemed to close down at 9pm. Would have liked an option for live music or a lounge/bar.

Nightlife tip: Not Applicable

We stayed 2 nights downtown and 1 night at Opryland. So glad we did this because we experienced downtown nightlife and then relaxed the last day at Opryland Hotel. Definitely recommend going to the Grand Ole Opry!

Quick Romantic Getaway.

The hotel was beautiful. I was so amazed at how many different types of scenery can be contained in one hotel. The cascades were beautiful and the synchronized water to music made me smile while the hubby just kept saying "wow". WOW is a great description of the entire experience. Looking forward to returning!!!!!!

One of the best hotels

Great design, a lot to do just inside the complex. Staying a day or two, you don't have to go out. Close to Grand Ole Opryhouse if you like country music...
