A tough time to judge!
Happened to come the day after a 32,000 person marathon in Nashville. Could not check in until quite late, as runners were late to leave and allow room cleaning. Even after all that we checked back in at 11:00 pm only to walk into a room that had not been cleaned at all. Had to get another room that was not quite what we had reserved. Overall they tried hard, but this was a frustration.

itching bill
terrible
My girlfriend and I went to Nashville to visit Opryland Hotel for Christmas. I usually stay at another hotel when in town but this time it was full. We picked Fiddlers Inn because of the location. They put us in to a non-smoking room but we could smell strong smell of smoke. In the middlle of the night I began itching all over my body. The sheets and towels had a strong bleach smell. I am unsure if that is what caused the itching but as soon as I got out of the room I began to stop itching. We left in the middle of the night. I will never stay at that hotel again.

Opry Birthday Bash
We reserved late so that probably is part of the probem. The Dukes of Hazard convention was in town and they stayed next to us. Only problem, they were reving up the motor on their car at 10:30 at night right outside of our door and could not have been any closer. the next morning there was a crowd of people standing outside of our door at 7:00 talking loud.

Not bad
It's a reasonable hotel for business trip. It's close to the Opryland Convention center (5-10 minutes by foot). Some people who stayed there (young college students and a drunk couple) were really loud at night having fights or parties. Other than that, facilities or service are good enough for business trip.

Nice hotel room, friendly staff grt pric
Staff was very accommodating, rooms were very nice, everything you would need was there (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, coat hangers) it was a very nice stay.

great place for $$
Arrived during a tornado warning, no electricity! The staff was very helpful and gracious even though one of the staff had just found out the trees at her home had fallen due to the tornado. She wasn't sure if her home was OK.

Great location
We were attending a conference nearby. It is only a short walk to Gaylord Opryland. The rooms are very dated though.
