Don't judge a book by it's cover

Upon pulling up, one word came to mind, "ghetto." However, once I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was good sized & clean. You're not going to impress anyone by staying here, but if you need easy access to downtown or the stadium, or if you just need a place to sleep & keep your stuff, it's a great place. If you are skittish about driving through a bad neighborhood, this place isn't for you. For me, this place was just what I needed.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

If you need to go downtown, stay at the parking garage across from the convention center between 6th & 7th. Some parking lots can charge upto $50, but that place has a daily max of $8 & it's only a short walk to Broadway.

Not going back

The hotel was about 20 years behind in getting updated. There was mold all over the bathroom. As I was checking in the attendant kept swearing. We already pre-paid and it was marathon weekend so we were out of luck trying to get to stay somewhere else. Any future trips will not involve staying there.

Deffinatley not a 3.5 star hotel!

When we first got there our first rooms air conditioner was broken, moved us to a different room which was small and stuffy. The bathroom was gross, rust all over the vent cover, soap scum in the tub needless to say i didnt feel clean after a shower in this shower. Gunk build up on the handle of the sink from not being cleaned well. overall it was horrible not nearly worth the $113.00 we had to pay for one night in this place!!!

The unforgettable lumpy bed

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

[...]. I am going to contact them and let them know how poor their services are, I think I deserve some money back. They ran out of towels, my toilet did not work properly(after they were informed they did nothing to fix this), the hair dryer did not work, and then my key cards eventually did not work, and the ice machine was broke on my floor (so we had to go 4 floors down to get ice), the room was dirty, and the TV did not work properly, among other things. I have never had an experience like this before with a hotel, and I travel often.

Not worth the money! Terrible service!

The hotel was under going renovations but there were no excuses for the condition of the rooms. Just to name a few things: Broken alarm clock Broken toilet No microwave ( which was requested) No fridge ( also was requested) No ice machine on floor No hangers No closet No luggage stands No shampoo and conditioner Broken dresser drawers Indoor pool: CLOSED! Everything was sticky! The service was terrible! We called the front desk for a taxi ahead of time and when we came down we waited 25 minutes and still no cab. I asked the woman at the front desk if they were able to call a cab for us and gave her our room number, her response: "sometimes that's just how it goes." what?! Not worth it! I'm pretty sure we could've stayed at a super8 and received better service!

NEVER AGAIN

The hotel was ok on main lobby level, but the remainder of the hotel was disgusting, dirty and almost creepy. The room was filth!! The drywall was cracked and pieces were actually falling off wall, curtains were noticably dirty, floors were horribly stained and burnt, lights did not always work, TV did not function properly, safe did not work, no working coke machine in entire hotel and it smelled! I woudl not recommend this for the amount of money paid to anyone!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The hotel appeared very rundown from the outside and we hoped that the inside was at least clean and well kept...unfortunately, that was NOT the case!!! There were signs indicating that the hotel was under renovation but we did not see much indication of any work actually being done. The website indicated there was a restaurant/lounge in the hotel and there was not. The elevator was dirty and the hallways looked like something out of a scary movie...again, indicating that the hotel was being renovated with no sign of any work actually in progress. In our room, the carpet was pulled up between the room and bathroom and all the baseboards were pulled off. We could have lived with all of this; however, when I pulled the sheets back and found what appeared to be two large bloodstains, that was the breaking point!!! There were also bugs flying around the bathroom the entire time we were there. If we had any other options, we would have left this hotel; unfortunately, there were no rooms to be had in Nashville that weekend so were had no choice but to stay. They did change the bedding after we told them about the bloodstains, but we were already disgusted by that point and wanted nothing but to be out of that room. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!
