NEVER AGAIN
The hotel was ok on main lobby level, but the remainder of the hotel was disgusting, dirty and almost creepy. The room was filth!! The drywall was cracked and pieces were actually falling off wall, curtains were noticably dirty, floors were horribly stained and burnt, lights did not always work, TV did not function properly, safe did not work, no working coke machine in entire hotel and it smelled! I woudl not recommend this for the amount of money paid to anyone!

Business Meeting Stay
I am out of my travel money for the school year, so I elected to avoid downtown nashville. It was just a mile away and the hotel was nice on the inside. If you want to save some money on parking and location, it is a good buy.

awful
This hotel looked like a housing project. Holes in the walls unfinished halls tarps hanging everywhere. No ice machines or vending machines worked

Not worth the money! Terrible service!
The hotel was under going renovations but there were no excuses for the condition of the rooms. Just to name a few things: Broken alarm clock Broken toilet No microwave ( which was requested) No fridge ( also was requested) No ice machine on floor No hangers No closet No luggage stands No shampoo and conditioner Broken dresser drawers Indoor pool: CLOSED! Everything was sticky! The service was terrible! We called the front desk for a taxi ahead of time and when we came down we waited 25 minutes and still no cab. I asked the woman at the front desk if they were able to call a cab for us and gave her our room number, her response: "sometimes that's just how it goes." what?! Not worth it! I'm pretty sure we could've stayed at a super8 and received better service!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
[...]. I am going to contact them and let them know how poor their services are, I think I deserve some money back. They ran out of towels, my toilet did not work properly(after they were informed they did nothing to fix this), the hair dryer did not work, and then my key cards eventually did not work, and the ice machine was broke on my floor (so we had to go 4 floors down to get ice), the room was dirty, and the TV did not work properly, among other things. I have never had an experience like this before with a hotel, and I travel often.

The hotel was dated. The price was very reasonable. Great location for stadium visitors. It was a nice 20 minute walk to downtown. Would not want to walk it after dark. It would be great if there was a shuttle that ran hourly to and from Broadway.

OK facility...could be cared for more
Got an odd vibe when we walked in...not sure what is was, but there was a strange "aura." Maybe it's the history behind it...the "King of the Road" maybe...who knows. It's an odd place in a rather dreary industrial area near the stadium. The floor we were on smelled like mildew and they had a large fan blowing to disperse the odor and presumably the moisture. The hotel seemed to have major water problems - from this possible leak to the entire water system being out for a few hours on our day of arrival, plus some nasty brown water coming out of the sink... Didn't swim in the pool...the water smelled like it was 98% chlorine - the entire pool room (an odd location past a broken door and a gate) had the overwhelming smell of chlorine. The desk staff didn't seem to know very much about the workings of the hotel and the third person we spoke with printed off an incorrect folio for our stay (which I did not notice until we had left town). The general non-desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and the continental breakfast was extensive and pretty good. It was definitely not worth the price.
