SLEEP IN YOUR CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew where it was located and the area is some what depressed but the motel should not have been. If you are wearing a company name you should try to live up to the company's standards and if this is what the Day's Inn has come to then it should close with out delay. The room had a door to another room and the lock was falling off. The bathroom looked better at the gas station. I refused to look at the bed for bugs. I should have known that something was wrong when the clerk gave the key to another man and told him to show me the room before I checked in. Never Again. This place gets no STARS from me just kiss the MOON!!!!!!!!!!

the good, the bad and the ugly

GOOD: -excellent, quick, easy location to interstate/downtown Nashville. -With A.C. on, couldn't hear any outside noise/traffic. -inexpensive -continental breakfast: apple/Orange juice, coffee, toast, bagels, muffins, waffles, cold cereal -Unlike what others wrote, we felt perfectly safe, though we did unload everything from our van to our two motel rooms. BAD: -pool wasn't open and it might be the go-to excuse for them..."The health inspector comes (the day after you leave) in two days to let us open the pool. -the lobby has a stench almost unbearable so it isn't easy to eat food while gagging. -food/ plastic ware kept in bins that are dirty and dingy. -B/c we have 7 children and two parents, we needed two rooms. One toilet worked very poorly (hold down flusher for 30+ seconds and then only half goes down), the other had to be fixed by my husband after each flush. UGLY: -The rooms do NOT resemble the photo on the internet. They are so dirty and old that you cannot tell if they have been cleaned between patrons. Yes, we Americans are obsessed with cleanliness, and this really does not meet standards for a 3 star hotel/motel. It was very gross. -All of our mattresses (four) were stained around the edges with blood...maybe they were picked up for free from a crime scene??? -The fitted sheets were not fitted...just flat sheets wrapped around, so they came up and it was gag-worthy to know you were rubbing up against the mattresses. In conclusion, we stayed there two nights b/c it was all we could afford. I'd rather camp and be dirty/no shower than stay here and be dingy/nasty. My husband would stay again b/c #1: The price was right, #2: he cannot smell, #3: he is a veterinarian, so touching blood, feces, etc. doesn't phase him.

No frills, but clean & friendly :)

If you're just looking for a place to sleep & shower, this is for you. The rooms & linens are clean, they have a decent continental breakfast, & the gentleman at check-in was super nice. It was much cheaper than staying Downtown Nashville & just a short 15 minute or less drive gets you Downtown, to Opry Mills, etc... If I were in the area, I would stay again.

This Hotel is disgusting,..

The hotel need to be closed down. The state health department should close this place down.. Blood stains on mattress and stains through -out sheets... OMG!! [...] should really monitor who they conduct business with.. If you care about your health don't stay here.. I checked out right after I checked in.. A very dangerous area. If you're from Nashville please contact your health department about this place.

Not the worst but def. Not the best

The hotel looked nice on the outside but the room itself was in need of some remodeling. The smoke detector was beeping as soon as we walked in the room. I called the front desk and the guy said to yank it off the ceiling and it should stop which was kinda odd considering we were in a smoking room. The contract with pest control must of ran out because we had a few bugs and spiders in the room which freaked me out. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

You gotta be joking

Staff was rude. Building is crumbling. Room smelled like stale body odor. Parking lot was very small and hard to access. WiFi wasn't working. Refrig was dirty. Seats in room were dirty and stained. Numerous holes in walls including a large round hole were the old door knob had made before they changed locks and it still hasn't been fixed. Pool is very small and not very clean compared to the picture. Pictures must be from several years ago.

Cheap but You get what You pay for...

Said they had free 24 hour shuttle to anywhere, not true. We had to call a cab and he took the long way so we got over charged. We had to change rooms after 4 hours to get a working AC. The managers daughter around 18 was delightful in helping us find a good AC. Oh and we got chewed out for leaving a messy room. I guess we should have made the beds!!

This is an absolutely fine low

This is an absolutely fine low budget spot, and although all the locals describe the location as a bad neighbourhood (at night mainly) we had no hassle whatsoever. Taxi into downtown costs around $13
