Weekend Getaway
We came to Nashville for a concert at the Allen Arena. We chose it because it was close to the Arena and the price. It's an older hotel but it's been freshly remodeled. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We'll be back the next time we're in Nashville.

Great place to stay.
I can not say enough about how good the staff were. Our room was great, the only thing I would say about the hotel is that they could us new carpets, and they are doing some flooring when we left. A great place to stay and if we go back, will stay here for sure. Thanks again for making our trip a great one. Nashville is a wonderful place to visit. The people are so friendly.

Nice place to stay
We stayed here two nights. It was clean, quiet and convenient to all the things we wanted to do. We had a king bed room with a sofa sleeper. That worked well as our son was able to join us in Nashville for one night. The room was spacious enough even with an extra person. The front desk staff gave us a voucher for our son to use for breakfast also. The hot breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of choices and plenty of tables. All in all, a nice inexpensive place to stay

Short drive from hotel
Try the Cock of the Walk for great catfish, shrimp and chicken. Check out Legends Corner for great music and a fun atmosphere. You can even take the kids and not feell out of place. A fun time

The hotel is under construction and therefore there was a lot of noise and the smell of building materials was found throughout the hotel. It was hard to find the hotel because the address is shared with another hotel.

No tacky quilt bedspreads here.
Clean & room with white bedding (which is essential). Updated with granite counter in bathroom area. Nicer than standard toiletries. The waffles on the breakfast buffet were tasty. We arrived too late to sample the evening cocktail/happy hour or check out the jacuzzi. We would have liked to. The main lobby was under construction so the area they used for check in was extremely old and tired. Although, I waited for more than a few minutes to check in (as the clerk was booking with another customer on the phone), he was very nice & accommodated us with a lst floor room per my request. Would definitely like to check out this hotel in the summer as pool area looked very nice. Would probably upgrade this hotel to three stars when the lobby is done.

Almost Average
Lack of cleanliness was the biggest issue and unexcusable (mold around bathtub, coffee maker left unemptied, hair curler left under dining table). Outside there was littering from guests and was not removed in a timely manner. Hotel was going through some remodeling that will hopefully improve its appearance-hall carpet was grungy. Stuffed chair in room was showing a high degree of wear. Bed was ok at best. Breakfast was ok at best (at least free). Sausage is very poor quality. There are better deals out there available considering the hotel's condition.

perfect airport location and close proximity to downtown. Wonderful amenities and staff. A terrific value for the dollar. 4 stars in terms of comparable properties.
