What we expected
You really can't beat the location of this place. It was however, difficult to even find the entrance to it! But the staff was very nice and they were quick about getting our car back to us. The rooms were average. But when you are in Nashville, most of your time will be spent OUT anyway! The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud and it was easy to hear people on the streets. But overall, I would stay here again...we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go for the most part :)

Good for the price and location
Went to Nashville for a concert. The hotel was great for the price and location, just a few blocks from downtown. The room was clean, and comfortable, but outdated. Would stay again.

good location
We travel to Nashville twice a year, this hotel is the perfect location fr music downtown. I was very stunned on our first day there when a panhandler was begging in the LOBBY.....the desk clerk and valet were right there.....made me very uncomfortable.....I expect them on the street, not in te lobby.

Thanksgiving Holiday visit
We had 3 rooms total for 8 people for 4 nights. Hotel was okay--nothing special or great. Rooms were tight as far as space--same for bathroom. Liked that you could open your room door and get some fresh air outside, and weren't stuck with a hallway on the interior of a hotel. Don't know if I'd stay there again, guess it would depend on rate and any upgrades. It did need some refreshing and remodeling. Probably go to the Best Western on the West End near Music Row--Bigger rooms, nicer, more amenities and free parking.

Entertainment tip:
Long walk from hotel
I love to walk so the 4-5 blocks to get down to the music and entertainment on Broadway and 2nd Ave was fine for me, but for lazy people or non-walkers, you better cab it. Cost you about $5--one way downtown or one way back.

Okay
I think overall you get what you pay for. The room did have an airconditioner that sounded like a diesel truck. That was my one major complaint.

Fun in Nashville
Construction although necessary created some dirt issues. Workers with dirty boots doing work in rooms and the rooms not re-cleaned after ..........carpets needed shampooing. Kyoshi6

Do the Honky Tonks on Broadway......Tip the bands a minimum of $5.00 per hour you spend there they are worth it. We will be back to this hotel although old they are upgrading and it is good value.

A little underwhelming
Downtown hotel along with added expense should come up to date amenities. This hotel is dated but was still clean. I was just a little underwhelmed considering the location

Ya get what ya pay for
Room was small but cozy. Breakfast was pretty good. Only complaints are that parking is kind of ridiculous and the rooms are right off the street so it can be noisy.

Felt more like a motel
I can't say enough nice things about the staff. They were very accommodating and helpful. The Hotel itself was fairly dated. Small bathrooms and rooms for the most part. The worst part was once inside you had to go back outside to a breezeway in order to get to your room. Kind of sucks in the winter. But for the price it's really not that bad. Next time though we will pay another hundred dollars for a better place.

weekend away
Very noisy, could hear all the street noise. Room was in process of remodeling, toilet rocked and leaked, sink faucet was not stable. Bathroom door unpainted. Location was good for what we needed. Beds were good. Didn't like having to go outside to get to room on the fifth floor.
