Never Again!

The carpeting was shabby, the bedding was not the cleanest. The neighbors were noisy due to the paper thin walls. No continental breakfast available although advertised. Also, has a history of theft problems. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

DISAPPOINTED!

We were visiting friends for their anniversary party. The Vista Inn-Murfreesboro is a dinosaur. The floor in the bathroom was disgustingly filthy with caked up black scum in the corners. No ceiling fan to remove shower steam. Only basic cable on the television. No HBO or Showtime. Upon check out, the continental breakfast was a pre filled lunch sack with a stale danish. a Wal-Mart brand fruit & grain bar and an apple. A total insult!

It was a couples getaway

We are searching properties in area, and surrounding counties so we can move to area. But I would not stay here agian, When we arrived there was sign on pool that the state of Tenn. had shut it down, then we went out for awhile then it was open. Dont know what was up but it made us very sceptical of getting in the pool. And we really wanted to swim it was very hot and we was wanting to relax while we was there. If we would have known pool was closed we would have choose another hotel.

"Unbeatable location for the price"

Great location just off interstate. Old hotel/motel, not really clean, little smelly. Friendly staff, cereal, rolls, milk, juice, coffee breakfast, but part was closed off with sheets hung across ropes with shrine at one end and scary for the little ones.

"For the budget conscious"

The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean yet needed major updating, especailly in the bathrooms. The price was great and beds were comfortable. Fine for a short term stay.

Not so good.

When I was at check-in, I was impressed. The hotel had a very nice foyer. After checking in I was directed to drive around back and enter in the back door. Once I walked in it felt like it was 100 degrees. I went up the elevator, had to walk thru several doors (very weird layout), but I didn't mind that. I was just ready to relax. I opened the door to my room and I knew the pictures on [...] were not accurate. The room had an odor of cats/dogs and cigarettes. The bedding had cigerette burn holes. The fridge had cigarette burns. The curtains had cigarette burn holes. The couch had cigarette burn holes. The sink had cigarette burns. The bath tub floor literally had black foot prints stained in. I was disgusted. I am not confrontational, so I stayed the 1 night I booked. I'm just glad this wasn't a long stay. I'm positive the pictures advertised are not of this hotel.I will say that the Hotel Attendant was very pleasant and helpful.

great price, could have felt cleaner

no complaints on value, it was an adequate room for the money. had a frig and micro in room that was not even documented. had an old sheet and blanket stuffed in a drawer, kinda scary. some other items were under the bed also. some of the tv channels were very snowy and not watchable.

Great Stay, would stay again.

This was a good hotel. The price was low, the hotel was in a good location, and had a nice continental breakfast in the mornings. Best of all, the room was very clean and tidy. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our room had a fridge/freezer, safe, table and chairs, blow-dryer, iron and ironing board, alarm clock, and many coupons to use in the surrounding area. I would stay there again in a minute.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Great restaurants and shopping. M'boro is a lovely town with a small town appeal, but is actually getting pretty big.

Barely sufficient

The clerk at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The property itself left much to be desired. It is very old and desperately in need of renovation. The bed was not very comfortable, but the room was reasonably clean, & the air conditioning was working well. We only stayed one night on our way to another destination. It was sufficient for a one night stay at a reasonable price.
