Knights Inn Murfreesboro

This was the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. It was filthy, the housekeeping staff may or may not make up the room each day. The door did not close properly so I had to put a chair under the doorknob. The roaches, flies and other unidentified bugs were abundant. We were unable to get a towel per person on any day. The worst problem was the older men that came out of their rooms each evening when I would return with two teen age girls to their leering and crude remarks (I drive a diesel truck so they could hear us return). I tried to park in front but several semi's were always parked there. The two times the girls tried to use the pool, men immediately came out to pace the balcony and smoke, staring at the girls and making remarks. Police cars were at the hotel every day that we were there. Stay at your own risk!

worker at desk was very rude keys did not work in door. had to slam door to even shut it woke up covered in bug bites

check in was very helpfull. She was able to get me detailed directions to a very difficult to find location.

just more ice but it was very hot days they had 2 ice makers

[...]As far as the hotel itself. It's fairly scuzzy though i've seen worse. I didnt even attempt to sleep under the covers. I brought my own blanket and slept on top of the hotel covers/sheets. The room smelled like an elderly persons home. The bathroom was not FILTHY but wasn't exactly clean either. I am not complaining - I didnt expect much for under $50 - but i just think people who are considering staying here should know so they can make an educated decision. The worst part of the situation was the rude, unhelpful, miserable staff member/manager/whatever who really should be working a job in which he doesnt have to deal with people. Because in the service industry, you never ever treat your customers or potential customers with anything but the utmost respect and pleasant attitude. He was obviously not taught this in his training. If there was any training. I sortof suspect that he was plucked off the street for the job.Oh and p.s. the "continental breakfast" featured sunny d instead of orange juice, amongst other atrocities. again, i wasn't expecting much....but is it really that hard to to get some minute maid orange juice or something instead of sunny d. they're in the same isle in the supermarket for goodness sake. and im sure store brand o.j. is just as cheap as sunny d....if not cheaper. what if i was a diabetic for christmas sake?? its not like they warned us. had to find out the hard way.

We called to let them know we were doing a late check-in; they said since our reservation was paid it would be no problem. However, when we arrived, they had given our room away anyway. We were told to wait 10 minutes (it took 30) and they would have another room ready. The room we were given had VERY dirty sheets; one of the beds had sheets with huge wet spots and stains all over it. The bathroom was dirty and had dirty towels. The whole place was filthy and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. Horrible experience. Will never return.

The rooms were ok, but not exceptionally clean

Had nothing but problems, they did not have my reservation!!!! the doors had to be played with to get code cards to work, it took on average 6 tries on both rooms, everytime!! the tv signal was terrible when it did come in!! The room phone could dial out but could not recieve calls!!! This is the Second time that my reservation was not recieved by the hotel!!!! I am seriously thinking of closing my account with Orbitz because of the Repeat Problem of the Hotel not having my reservation's!!!

Had to take care of personal business while I was there, As soon as I arrived they told me that I had the wrong credit card. I paid in advance for my room, was charged as soon as I got there, showed them the papers where I booked my trip and paid in full, wasn't happy with the factor that I paid twiced for a 1 day stay, Thought paying in advance was better and less stressfull than it was paying when you arrive. Now they don't want to reinburse me the funds and now I'm stuck dealing with the leg work of retreiving the funds back to my card.

We had a non-smoking room but it smelled very much like smokers had been there. The continental breakfast was limited to cereal and boxed doughnuts with coffee and juice drinks. On the plus side the wireless internet connection worked and they only charged $10 for our shih tzu.
