Clarion Inn & Suites

Our room was clean the staff good, but our room door had a major gap under it, The air blew in and it was cold outside

The hotel had good service, and was very close to everything. Complimentary breakfast and nice and freindly staff. For the price you cant beat Clarion.

Great location and price,freindly staff.Take what Mark Holdcraft says with a grain of salt.This is someone that lies and cheats and steals from people for business!

It was a business trip, I was woke up at about 1:30 am with a bunch of drunks outside my room, around 4:30 they left, this was Friday night, Saturday night was no different, other than that it was a Avg. place, but I talked to some employees and was telling them, they said it was like that every Friday and Saturday night, so I will not stay in this motel again,,,,,

We went to the Alpaca Show in Shelbyville and did some Antiqueing and shopping while there.

The room was clean but small. The chair blocked the drawer to the night table. There was no place else it could be moved to. Much better than average breakfast.

Usually, it's quiet when you hear crickets! Not in this case...Upon entering the room I noticed three (3) dead crickets throught the room, vanity floor and 2 in the bathroom. After I disposed of the bugs myself later that night I kept hearing the insects. by early morning they were on me and the wall above the bed!!!!! I will never stay there again!

I was there with family to attend a nieces graduation. The staff was super friendly and pleasant. My mother had her chihuahua with us. They put us in a room that reeked of urine. When we checked with the front desk, we were told that pets had never stayed in that room. They sent a worker up with a bottle and he gave it to me when he came to the door to use. Its instructions stated to place it into a dispenser. When I questioned him, he spoke very little English, and he said to spray and give it back. We sprayed it a few times and the strong mango scent did not mask the urine smell. The air condition was begining to cool the room off (it was off and very hot in the room when we arrived) and we hoped the smell would be ok. We stayed the night and the next morning the smell wes still there so we asked to be moved to another room. The second room was wonderful!!! No issues with it. Again, hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and pleasant during the hold incident and our stay at the hotel.

I booked 2 nights through Orbitz. The first night i got smoking which I requested non. The next night they moved me to a handicapped full room. Neither night I stayed in the room I booked. I spent $230 for both nights and Orbitz was only willing to give me $25.00. The hotel was filthy, parking lot was dirty, it was out dated. it was just a miserable stay and what kills me is that Orbitz really dont care about my business.

I know this hotel used to be a Holiday Inn ,and a very good one. Clairon purchased it had they are still apparently making upgrades. The Location to I-24 is fabulous, and it's closeness to MTSU and downtown Murfreesboro is excellent. I could see things that still need some attention, but they are still apparently working on it, It has a Restaurant, a Lounge, and they had an excellent free breakfast (which I don't sually do, I prefer to go into a restaurant and order what I want). Clarion is supposed to be the High-end of the Choice Hotel group, I have stayed in many in the USA and Canada. I was pleased with this one, clean, friendly,although it still needs a little work, the rates are better than the less quality newer hotels all around it. The best surprise was when I got my bill it was about $24.00 less than my reservation had stated.
