Never again..
This hotel is situated in a desolate location. It is under renovation and that means no pool and lots of grout. I felt uncomfortable the entire trip and wanted to leave. it was not worth the money and I would not stay again if it was free. The staff was rude and the booking company did not rectify the problem. Never again!

Motel Experiencw
I was honestly a bit nervous going there at night, but once the next day came my boyfriend and I realized we totally over reacted! The hotel is what you pay for. But you cannot beat the location; literally about a 5 minute drive from downtown Memphis. The breakfast in the morning was more than what I thought it'd be. It is supposedly under rennovations, but we plan on staying there again simply because it is cheap and easily accesible. And not gross like any other typical motel!

Hotel needs major makeover and maintainance
This hotel has a bad smell in the lobby, chipping stucco, and I didn't see any exterior security cameras. The location is close to downtown, but it is worlds apart from other hotels in the area. The picture in the advertisement must have been taken years ago because it is not a good reflection of the property's current condition. It also next to a busy train track. You get what you pay for, but this hotel should have been about fifteen dollars cheaper per night. If you are partial to nice accommodations, I would not recommend this hotel to you.

Buyer Beware
Horrible Hotel! Would NOT recommend it!
This hotel is located next to an old warehouse that has all of its windows broken or boarded up. The room smelled odd, carpet needed to be cleaned, paint was peeling, bathroom looked horrible (including the hair on the counter...GROSS!)....this hotel looked nothing like the pictures. Located in a rough part of town to put it nicely. Was only able to get 1/2 of my money back thanks to the hotel mgr, [...]. Would NOT recommend staying here [...]! YUCK! Needless to say we booked a Holiday Inn thru another site and were able to enjoy our weekend.

BB Kings was awesome...great blues band playing & great BBQ. Located on Beale Street, would defiantely recommend it!

Hotel was more than adequate for the price. The facilities were clean and the satff could not have been more helpful, especially over the $3 shuttle service to and from the centre of town. I viosted the main musical attarctions - Gracelands, Sun Studio and the Rock & Soul Museum (especially) were fantastic. Stax a little disappointing

Stay away
First, it's in a creepy location with abandoned buildings right beside it. Parking is horrendous. The microwave, tv and phone did not work. The toilet seat was broke and old school round shape. The pillow cases were either extremely worn or stained. If it wasn't for me just crashing a few hours after a concert, I probably would have changed rooms and complained more.

nice rooms
When I checked in I noticed how nice and clean te lobby was. I did't expect the room to be just as nice and clean. It came with a safe, fridge, microwave and a coffee pot as well as the nice big t.v. It was only a few minutes away from Beale st. and it was easy to get back and forth. I would definantly stay another time.
