OK digs, sketchy surroundings
The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly. The area seemed sketchy and my boyfriend and I were worried about leaving our car full of luggage unattended for the night. It was OK for the price and nothing bad happened, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Very poor
it was in a bad part of town. There was women of the nite on the street. all other building in the area where boarded up. we did not stay there. I was afraid that we wouldn't have any tires the next moring. It took us ten minutes to find our room. very bad neighborhood. the office is has steel wall to pull down at nite and they close by 8 pm. front door stay locked at all times.

Love memphis
not bad for the price
Very very cheap for one night sleep. Good place for breakfast right next to waffle house.

My review of Studio 6 Memphis
Hotel room had a old musty spell, carpet was dirty, and there were roaches. Hotel needs renovating and updating. Front desk staff was unprofessional and I had to wait 5 mins at front window while I could hear laughing and loud music in the back. After constant calling for someone and knocking on the glass window, staff finally appeared. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, I would give this hotel a 5.

Not What I Expected
I was not very satisified with this hotel.The pool was never clean and we did use it daily.My sister and I would get the skimmer and clean out the debris before using it. The area aroung the pool was littered with garbage that would stay there for a couple of days before being picked up.The room itself was spacious with the bedroom separate from the living area but could have been beter looked after.Very worn and used looking,even the blankets on the bed need to be replaced. We were close to a couple of good restaurants but as for shopping,not conveinient.
