The hotel was right off the highway. Easy access. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. Breakfast had a nice variety of options.

I traveled to Memphis for a business trip and stayed at the Springhill Suites. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotels. I like them to be quiet and extremely clean. This one was a stand out. When I checked in the employees were very friendly. There was a fresh batch of warm cookies available in the lobby. The room itself was very nice. They placed me in a handicap room which was very roomy. The beds were comfortable and piled with 5 pillows per bed. The sheets were clean. The bathroom was pretty clean, and I'm not sure if this bathroom was the typical bathroom but it was very large. Had a refrigerator, a microwave with paper plates and two sets of plastic forks/spoons. The first night there was a noisy guest that stomped around above me for two hours while I was trying to sleep but I know the hotel can't help that. The other nights were perfectly quiet and pleasant. The cleaning crew was very good, as I usually leave my shoes in a pile, but they would be in a straight line when I came in in the evening. They were very friendly when I came across them and always said hello, and asked me how I was doing. The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but good choices for a hotel of this level. I would recommend, and I plan to stay there again when I have to come into town for business in the future. It's in a great location, even walking distance to some great restaurants and a mall.

Everything was very good except a noisy family next door with children at 1 a.m. We called the front desk and heard someone knock at the noisy room in less than 5 mins. No further participation was required by us. Peace and quiet was resumed. Good job!

Our room flooded in a storm and the staff did not try to help at all. We had to go get our own new bedding from the front desk to replace our wet ones (4 hours after calling to request it be changed). We ran out of towels and toilet paper because the cleaning staff missed our bathroom....again had to go get it ourselves from the desk. The location was great, the rooms were okay when they were not flooded (still less than expected - below a Hampton Inn quality room), breakfast was decent, but quality service was at the bottom of this hotels list and it showed.

I was visiting family in the area and have stayed at this location in the past. The location is great...close to many stores and restaurant's. The staff is freindly during the stay.

Very clean and no surprises

The hotel was great, the location was awesome. Close to the interstate and lots of restaurants and shopping. The only negative would be that they delivered the newspaper (USA Today) to our door each morning and they kept delivering it even after we told them we did not want it. The other thing is that the sink overhead light was about to go out and was not fully lit at times. We advised them of this also but they did not come change it. Probably because it would do it at times but not always.

The SpringHill Suites Memphis East/Galleria is convenient to many shopping and dining establishments. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good, too.
