Service was beyond exceptional
There was nothing that they could have done to make our stay more enjoyable. From the moment we chcked in Shanon was so welcoming. Ted on the roof top patio was very friendly and fun to talk to. Our service in the dinning room was again very friendly. The food was fantastic. Just about the best filet I've ever had. Comming back to our room we felt very well taken care of with the turn down service. In fact every moment of our stay there, we felt very well taken care of and the staff were delighted to do it.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
If you want to be right in the middle of the beale street fun, this probably isn't the best location for you. It's only about a 10 minute drive, but then you have to find parking downtown. You can take a taxi for about $12 each way, including tip.

Satisfied Honeymooners
Absolutely Perfect!!
My husband and I stayed at the River Inn for our honeymoon last week and we absolutely loved it!! The staff was amazingly friendly and chatted with us every time we came and went--and remembered what attractions we were heading to and asked us how we liked them! Every night the hotel has a turn-down service that comes in and folds down the blanket on the bed and leaves a small bottle of cordial and two gourmet chocolates. Each morning we had a complimentary gourmet breakfast in the fine dining room--the eggs benedict was my favorite! In the room itself they offer two types of glass-bottled water, one sparkling and one not. The River Inn at Harbor Town was in the middle of a very quaint community that had a spa, cleaners, grocery, and many others. Across the street at the riverfront there was a walkway and benches. The hotel was also within a half mile of Beale Street, 20 minutes from Graceland, and offered free parking unlike the Peabody.

Short drive from hotel
Rendezvous has the BEST dry-rub ribs I've ever tasted!! They are located in an alleyway just down from Beale street and they do offer a parking garage although we parked in the metered parking. They don't offer a full menu until 4:30pm, but they serve ribs all day long--so go for lunch!! The only choices are a full rack or a half rack, but it's worth it!!

This Hotel Was Simply Amazing!!
This boutique hotel looks over the Mississippi River. Our room was exquisite, comfy bed, plenty of wall plugs, windows, beautiful decor. Very comfortable and welcoming. A small carafe of port awaited us nightly, along with chocolates. The staff couldn't have been better. We were there for a wedding, and shared breakfast with the bride and groom afterwards. The staff, one by one, came by the table and congratulated the couple. Their caring attitudes just put the icing on the cake. We ate at the restaurant for supper, post wedding, and the meal was definitely 5 star. Then, gourmet breakfast the next morning - complimentary! We can only give glowing reviews of this hotel and restaurant...we travel extensively, and this hotel wins hands down in every category. Plus - FREE wireless!

Lovely hotel & incredibly gracious staff
This is a lovely hotel on the Mississippi River with easy access to downtown Memphis. There is no charge for parking and the gourmet breakfast is complementary. The staff is outstanding and Chelsea at the front desk epitomizes the graciousness of Southern hospitality. We enjoyed our stay very much.
