Staff was very accomodating. The free breakfast was adequate for the property. The location is great as it allows access to most on Memphis in a short period of time.

A convenient place to stay
I said it was the dumpiest nice hotel I have ever stayed at. Great location next to every kind of upscale dining and shopping you could want. Ruth Christ's steak house, etc. When I arrive on Friday night the 4th floor smelled like a VFW before the smoking bans. The whole premises is supposed to be non-smoking, but there is no security or monitoring so it was a smokey party when I got there at 11:00pm. Saturday night was even worse with a MAJOR disturbance in the hall at 3:00am - hollering and yelling - loud partying. Very tacky. I would have called the front desk, but frankly I was tired and there did not appear to be anyone on staff that could handle the magnitude of what was going on. I did not want to get involved with the police or anything else - I just wanted to sleep and be safe. Got little of either. Really too bad - I won't stay there again.

It was a La Quinta
Memphis is a scary place. Gunshots and sirens going off all night long. I went to a gas station and paid and NOTHING came out of the pump!.... But the hotel room was big and roomy and clean enough. No special pluses, but an okay in a pinch.

There is a restaurant called FLIGHTS in downtown. It is a 15 minute drive from the hotel but well worth it! So delish.

Great Value for the price!
Staff went above and beyond to make sure that our room met our needs. There is a fitness center right on the first floor which is convenient and there is also a beautiful pool however I think because of the time of year it was closed.

Pleasantly suprised
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was our first experience with La Quinta, and I will definitely keep them in mind for my next trip. Good location (about 15 minutes from downtown), wonderful service, and the rooms were clean and lush. If we ever visit Memphis again, we will stay at this La Quinta. I highly recommend!

Weekend getaway disturbed by Loud family
There was an extremely loud family staying next door the whole time we were there and the hotel seemed unable to do anything to make them be quiet. Although we loved the hotel, we were miserable staying there as we were constantly distubed by the people next door.

Average place to stay...
Unfortunately, the staff held me up at check-out with a billing mix up. Although I booked and paid through you, they tried to charge me for my stay. I had to switch rooms because the first one assigned to me was not clean. Otherwise, things were ok.
