Make sure you go to Beale St.. Also the Lorraine Hotel is well worth visiting. It's within walking distance of Beale St..

Santa Visitor
Very Nice Hotel for Slight Premium Price
Hotel was well located for our Christmas Family Visit. Extremely quiet during the Holidays, but staff was still attentive and Breakfast Brunch was still available for $8.50 per person. We felt that ordering off of the menu was an equally good option. Quiet, secure residential neighborhood but only about 8 miles from Memphis Airport. Would definitely stay again for slightly more money than we would ordinarily pay for a Hampton Inn or Marriott Courtyard.

Nice hotel, lacking staff
The hotel was quite nice, but the some of the staff were unprofessional. For example, our friend's credit card become stuck in the imprint machine for over half an hour. When the front desk person returned his card there was no apology or anything. Many of the cleaning staff were rude.

Fabulous Rooms
This Hotel is a very nice hotel with wonderful rooms the only downfall is that it doesnt have a pool. I would definately stay there again. I would also recommend this hotel as very high quality for you money. All rooms are suites and you have internet in your room as well as free computer access in the lobby anytime. Staff are extremely friendly and the food in the resturant is great.

Resturants are within walking distance and museums are just a few blocks away. The University is just accross the street and getting to downtown is very easy

GREAT LOCATION FOR THE TOURIST
THIS WAS MY THIRD VISIT TO MEMPHIS AS A VACATION DESTINATION AND THIS HOTEL FAR SURPASS THE PREVIOUS PLACES WE STAYED. THERE IS NOT A POOL WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR A HOTEL THIS LARGE. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH BUFFETS OFFER GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY. THE HOTEL IS ON THE CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS AND IS SURROUNDED BY A MOST LOVELY NEIGHBORHOOD OF ONE OF THE KIND HOMES. NO COOKIE CUTTER DEVELOPMENTS HERE. THE PINK PLACE MUSEUM IS NEARBY AND THE BEALE STREET AREA AS WELL AS THE NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM ARE NEARBY. I WILL NOT HESISTATE TO RETURN HERE FOR FUTURE VISITS.
