Great location BUT
This was the perfect location right off the highway and across the street from Target and a few other good restaurants. Everything we wanted to go see was about 15 minutes away HOWEVER my boyfriends car was broken into and items were stolen from our car. I would recommend the hotel but would stress to bring ANYTHING important into the hotel with you and try to park in front.

You can forget about Breakfast
On my last morning at the hotel- I went to get breakfast, only to learn that there was a charge for it , $22 for a omlet and some potatoes and sausage...ok, but the potato's were old and the sausage was disguisting. I went back to the room to grab my jacket and purse and tried to return but was told that I had to pay again if I was to re-enter. There was no sign that said this- and when I questioned the lady she proceeded to get rude and disrespectful. That was my FIRST and LAST time visiting this hotel. I will save my money for some place where the staff knows how to treat paying customers.

Nice Safe Stay
I stayed at this hotel because I was going to an event at my church in Memphis. I live about an hour away. My room was ready and quiet. The elevator was a little old. There's restaurants nearby and one right next to the hotel. What I really loved was the security guards on the premises. The gym was decent and well kept. I would stay again. It was in a safe area of Memphis. I believe its in Germantown.

Pretty good
It was a nice mini vacation for me. The thing that was really bad was the entrance of the hotel. Its off of a major street and the turn is Terrible. But otherwise it was a pretty decent stay. i would recomment this hotel to others.

Business Trip - stay was quiet and uneventful until the day I was to leave. I requested a 715 wake up call which didn't happen. Woke up at 805 in a panic and barely caught my 920 flight. . . plenty of parking, very close to freeways and airport is 7 mi away, pleasant rooms, have a $10 hot breakfast altho I didn't partake. very competitive at $79 and worth staying - other than the wake up call issue which was quite upsetting.

Dining tip:
In Hotel
There is no room service; just a snack bar for purchase in the lobby and $10 breakfast buffet. There are many restaurants close by but the hotel is situated between two very busy streets, so be prepared to drive.

pretty good
We had to go to a conference at the Hilton and the group rate date had passed there so this place is just across the road. i was put off when we went in the lobby as it is quite basic. It is nice, but not like super elegant. but the room was super and people were just fine and helpful, and there was ALWAYs someone at the front desk to ask anything. Breakfast was good with made-to-order egg chef. It is in kind of a weird spot in Memphis, but so is the Hilton. It has the advantage of a very good French Bistro being right next door. Really top notch place named River Oaks. Lots of locals from TV stations hang out there for some reason. You may need a reservation. We really have no complaints. Prices go up quickly in Memphis and there is no "middle class" of hotels, so there is a big drop off after this hotel on down. We liked it. It is a bit far from down town, but down town hotels are pricey.

Short walk from hotel
River Oaks French Bistro is right out the front door and to the left. Less than a short walk. you may need a reservation. Beale street is kind of not worth it. Drinks are poorly prepared and wildly overpriced. Food on Beale Street is beyond crumby. There are cops every 20 meters so you cannot drink anyway if you are driving. I would rather Chattanooga for a nice night life street. There are street hustlers running short cons around Beale Street and surrounding area, which, after living 20 years in Latin America I am just fed up with. There is good barbecue somewhere in Memphis, but it is not downtown, I can tell you that.
