Most Elvis fans never got this close to the King. The Day's Inn, located just across the street from Graceland, defines convenience. Guests can browse the inn's extensive collection of Elvis pictures and records, or tour the mansion owned by Elvis and his wife, Priscilla. Attractions at Graceland include the singer's car and clothing collection and his private jet named after his daughter, Lisa Marie.
The complimentary Daybreak Breakfast, to be enjoyed while being serenaded by Elvis, includes Belgian waffles, muffins, cereals, fresh fruit, gourmet coffees, and imported teas. For lunch and dinner the area offers a number of restaurants to suit every taste, such as Jack Pirtle's Fried Chicken, seafood at Shoney's 2302 or Captain D's, Rally's Hamburgers, steaks at Marlowes, and Tops Bar-B-Q.
First-rate attractions within a 10-mile radius of the inn include downtown Memphis, with the Pyramid Arena, FedEx Forum, and the Beale Street entertainment district -- home of Sun Studios, which first recorded Elvis.
After a long day of sightseeing guests appreciate the inn's custom outdoor pool made famous by MTV, Full House, and the Travel Channel.

Getting a little worn out
There was a weird smell when you first walk in. The neighborhood around Graceland is getting pretty scary.

Elvis wouldn't like it.
Very unwelcoming staff member - we were locked out when we arrived and the staff member acted as though we were a "pain". Unhelpful in regards to a place to eat...

days inn at graceland
decent hotel, wished we stayed downtown though, not much besides graceland in walking distance and no free shuttle to take you downtown. If your there exclusively for graceland this hotel is an affordable option. we did have a couple of complaints about housekeeping, dirty iron, no coffeepot. overall, decent, fairly clean and comfortable. they did provide free shuttle to and from airport and breakfast was good.

Very Nice for Price!
Hotel was clean and the staff was attentive. All we really needed were a few outdoor chairs in front of each room door for evening sitting. Close to everything we wanted to see. Would stay there again.

Ok place.Don't like pet friendly though. The room smelled a little Funny. Pets at a hotel is not cool. Wish I would have known this ahead of time. Other than that it was ok.

Couldn't be more convenient for Gracelands only 5 minutes walk. Good continental breakfast served 6 to 10 am. Plenty of eating places in walking distance. Bus service into Memphis efficient and regular.

Short drive from hotel
If one goes hungry with all the establishments on Elvis Presley blvd. something is wrong. Aside from the Mississippi dinner cruise we ate within 3 miles of the motel.
