East Memphis hotel with updated features and business amenities

Poplar Ave: Chains available but when in Memphis always go for BBQ, Corkys is on Poplar, dont miss it

The location was a little further from downtown than I expected. The staff at the front desk was especially polite and delightful. The room was a little on the small side, but still nice.

Not the best
I had to switch rooms as the first room I was in smelled... wet. The hotel is located right across the street from an active rail road track. About every hour a train would come by and was loud enough that I had to turn up the TV to hear it.

I had to access a room early to prepare for a meeting in the afternoon and the staff worked with me in obtaining a room as soon as it was available.

Good but needs attention to details
This is a very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. But, I had to change rooms because the air conditioner did not work. In the second room, the toilet would not empty and some of the electrical outlets did not work. Coffee was not replaced for my second day and kleenex was not replaced. Wired internet is out of date - wifi is the way to go. Breakfast was sad. Still, the bed was great. The location was fine. It was quiet, and I enjoyed my stay there.

really nice hotel and very clean
We went to Memphis for a nephews wedding. This was a half way point for he and his bride's family. The wedding was held at the Brook's Museum. We really enjoyed the location being drivable to down town and other locations. We took a trip to Graceland while there and the worker at the service desk was very helpful in getting us tickets. I can not say enough able how clean the room was and the service we received. [...]

wasnt what we expected
First hotel ever booked with [...] and we did not recieve the room we had booked! We ended up with a totally different room than we had booked online. The hotel was okay a little noisy at night

well it's like this
well the place was nice but the freight train across the street at 4 AM was bad. it was there when we left at 8 AM !!!! the bed needs replace,they got thier moneies worth out of it!!!! I love Memphis but when I go back will look another place
