Decent location
The Ramada Memphis is off the beaten path a little as it is located in East Memphis, however it has very close access to the interstate and takes only about 15 minutes to get to downtown Memphis. The hotel itself is mediocre at best. I wasn't thrilled with the bathroom but it was tolerable for my 3 day stay. The pool area was decent and they had lounge chairs to relax in. The continental breakfast was unorganized and ran out of items rather quickly and the available vending machines were horrible and the ice maker was tempermental. My saving grace was the fact that there is a lovely Starbucks right next door, and several fast food places just down the street.

Nice place to stay.
We were only in the hotel for a few hours until we hit Beale Street. It took us may be 20 minutes to get to Beale Street. Maybe that is because we were using the gps system. This hotel was not that bad of a place to stay. Although they had a pool, it wasn't open to customers yet. Which was a shame, but that is OK. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a good place to stay at a decent price.

A great stay
I was concerned about a late check-in (0100) but there was no problem. The room was clean and well maintained during my stay. I wasn't there all that much, but it was quiet, clean, and very close to the major road network in Memphis. All in all, a great trip.

This hotel is about 2 blocks away from I 240/40, the main route through and around Memphis, and that made it very easy to reach the places I needed to go.

Pretty decent
There were really only a couple complaints about my stay. The room was clean for the most part...the tub mat was looking a little off color. And the pillows were so flat that they were basically non existent. The bath mat was really my only problem with my stay. But it wasn't so bad that I wouldn't stay there again. Overall, not too shabby.

The property needed ...
The property needed repairs and the rooms were small and cramped for space. No closets in the king room. I will not trust the Ramada Inn name in the future. But I have to say the staff was great! We received very polite and helpful service from the time we checked in, until the time we checked out. Thank you to the staff of this Ramada Inn, you made my stay bareable. :)

Sorry Staff and Management
When contacted the first desk and site manager about the matteress sitting directly on the box springs the front desk clerk said that's all we have right now and the manager said in a really hateful tone I've never had any complaints about that room before.
